I did it........

I started after 3 years of gym time the running room. 3 times a week running in a group of 30 woman. Yesterday was my very first run, 3.4km. It was not bad at all. We will slowly increase more km. The goal is to create your own half marathon. ( 3 times a week)

NEVER, I thought I would do this, but here I am running. YES, I am one of the oldest, but who cares. I did for 3 years the gym time, and never liked the running part, but I felt sooooo good returning home yesterday.

Just wanted to tell you that its actually fun, not bad at all, you should try it.

Here in Montreal the running room is free, no gym fee, no member ship, and we run safe iwith an instructor.

Anyhow, just wanted to let you know, all is well, feeling strong and young.

Yay you!! The Running Room has great programmes, I know a lot of people who go and love it.

The best advice I can give is just keep with it, improvement can seem slow at the beginning, but is so gratifying when it starts to happen. It is not always easy, but it is so worth it.

You sound so happy and healthy, Mamita.  I'm inspired.  Don't think I could start running at my age, but walking would help me.  I need to get going. It's good to read your post.
