hi ladies, Roadrunner checking in
congrats NM on 3 lbs down!
Friday check-in = 3 points
Weight 173.5 (up from last week) = 0 points [zogo you passed me again!]
Exercise = 14 points
Daily H2O = 7 points
Extra credit = 1 point - bought a new intermediate-level yoga CD: yoga conditioning for athletes
Total = 25 points
-
Roadrunner here:
Friday = 3 pts
Weight = 184 up again (bad food choices) = 0
Water = 7 (was good this week)
Exercise = 14 (did well here too)
Total = 24 (every week I fall off on one of the above; I'd be dangerous if I stayed on track for all)
Raining buckets here right now so a walk is out. Did stop by the gym and it was packed, even the pool so did grocery shop and sculpt and came home.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Roadrunner checking in:
Native! Fantastic on 3 lbs down! BTW - I will be in New Harbor, Maine in July. Is that anywhere near thee?
I did a tiny bit better this week.
3 pts for Friday check in - wow- home on a Friday before midnight
5 pts for water, I think - I'm having trouble keeping track again
5 pts for exercise - pitiful, but better than 0
and, oh, yeah - down .5, so 2 pts!
15 pts - up a tiny bit
-
New Harbor is about a 2 hour drive from me. Makes it a good day trip for me. Maybe we can get together?

Hi ladies wanted to say hi. I'm trying to get in the wagon it's really hard working 3rd shift and sleeping all day. I did buy myself an over the counter appetite suppressant. Hope it helps. Trying to cut back, eat yogurt and taking stairs when I can at work plus walking passing Meds at work. not sure if I'll be able to post on here on Fridays for updates but will try. Keep up the good work.
-
Robin checking in:
Thank you to all who expressed condoloences. I missed check in since left work early to go travel to help FIL. I think I get 3 points for all the physical work I did this weekend though hauling boxes and packing things.
Water 7 points.
Took stairs at work 3 points.
Weight same. 1 point.

Just letting you all know I have been totally AWOL. Sorry about that. After my MIL passed away in April life has been crazy with trips out of town and now getting ready for son's wedding and family coming in. Hope to get back on the "wagon" early July and maybe can even get some exercize in too! I am trying to watch my diet some at least............hopefully I haven't gained too much.

Ugh
My life has been totally trashed lately. Two and a half weeks ago, my partner called me at work to tell me to call my step-brother, that something had happened to my step-mom, my dad's wife. Turns out she had a massive cerebral hemorrhage, a stroke and possibly a heart attack, all at the same time. She wasn't expected to live. I got a plane down to FL where they live, and spent the week with my dad watching her die and dealing with relatives, etc. She passed away five days later. Not a fun time. I'm worried sick about my dad, but had to come back to work and get on with my life, and so just keep in touch via phone. I tried to get him on FB, but I don't know how much he will use it.
So after spending a week sitting at hospice and house and eating, I'm up about 5 lbs. But we've started walking every day; my dad's supposed to be doing the same to build up his strength again, too. Maybe by Friday I'll be down a bit from a big high.
Native Mainer - I would love to meet while I'm in Maine! I'll PM you as the date of departure gets closer and we can work out some details. I don't really know what I'm doing yet - it's a work/play trip, but I get to make the schedule, I think. I'll let you know.
Thanks, ya'll for letting me unload after a time away.
-
Oh Dear (((bookart))) and (((bcincolorado)))....sending you both BIG hugs for your losses. It is so hard to deal with deaths in your own city, let alone out of town. Please be gentle with yourselves and your loved ones. And bookart, walking will definitely help with reducing stress, helping you sleep and general health. What a difficult time for your dad...I hope he can walk, too. And FB would be great if he can manage it.
Take care my birdies...

Roadrunner checking in on an empty road!
3 pts for Friday (do I get an extra point for checking in on my anniversary?)
6 pts for water
2 pts for weight loss - as I figured, walking and not just sitting and eating led to slight weight loss
10 pts for exercise - walking - missed today because allergies made me sneeze so hard I gave myself slight whiplash. Woke up with headache and neckache. Living better with chemistry - love them muscle relaxers and anti-histamines.
21 pts total - amazing for this couch potato. Wish me luck in keeping it up. Ate too much for anniversary dinner tonight, but back to walking tomorrow before work.

0 pts weight gain - boo!
10 pts exercise - walking

Popping in to see how everyone is doing. My home internet has been down for about 3 months and just got it repaired yesterday. I am also working the night shift, 11-7, and I sleep during the day and I stay tired all the time. LOL!! Right now my body is readjusting and I'm having a hard time. My weight is back at it's all time high. The Med onco has also changed my hormonal therapy after I stayed off of anything for almost 3 months due to extreme hairloss on Arimidex. I have just started back on the lowest dose of Tamoxifen. Keeping my fingers crossed it works. So much going on in life it's very hard to try and diet. But gosh I've gotta do something I'm am so miserable within myself and at myself. On a positive my daughter is getting married on Friday and I'm so very happy about that.
-
Mimi! Congratulations about your daughter's wedding, and welcome back! We all seem to be taking breaks as life gets too busy or things come up. I'm struggling at the top of my all-time weight, as well. It slides up and down 2 - 3 lbs, but I don't seem to be able to keep it going down, despite exercising more. Going to have to ramp it up, I guess, because I am also miserable with my shape and the way my clothes fit; I'm also worried about what it does to my overall health. Stress, age and menopause, those are my buggaboos.
-
bookart: Just checking in finally and wanted to see how everyone was. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
I hope to be "on the wagon" again soon.

Not bad considering how many times I've been to http://www.summerfest.com/ .
It's the "World's Largest Music Festival" and we've seen tons of great music. Three Dog Night, ZZ Top, Chicago, Ben Folds Five, Fun., Young the Giant, Mat Kearney, Kellie Pickler, and countless others. Not to mention the beer and my favorite fried eggplant. Three more nights...

Roadrunner checking in.
Friday check in 3 points,
water = 7 points
weight = 224 lbs this morning. Yuck.
Exercise = 7 points
extra credit (got through a medical appointment without crying) 1 point
Total = 17 points.
Boy do I need help.
-
That's a good thing to get extra credit for. I get very emotional at my dr. appointments. Have my mammo and an MRI on Monday, hope I can keep it together.
-
Native Mainer! I'm just now getting on BCO - wanted to let you know I had a great time hanging out in Rockland, ME with you! Thanks for letting me drag you to look at all that art, and thank goodness we made it back in time to get to the restroom before it closed! Whew! That was one of my best vacations EVER. Loved Maine and even managed to not gain too much, or at least broke even in the end, despite yummy lobstah. I was too exhausted from 24 hours doing the airport tango to check in last Friday, so I'll check in this Friday, birdies, I promise.
-
Bookart! So glad you're home safe, and I had a wonderful time, too! I slept like a log that night, that's for sure. Wish you'd gotten a picture of me wobbling around on the motor scooter! We'll have to do it again next time you're in Maine.
-
Native Mainer! I wish too - the motor scooter was fun-ny! I still think it would have been so cool to tool around on.
Birdies! Where is everyone? I'm guilty, too - I was watching the Olympics opening ceremony last night so totally forgot to check in.
BUT - I have exciting news! OK, not that exciting, but after going up, up, up I finally have been going down, down! Yay!
2 pts for down
7 pts for water - been pretty good!
Exercise, not so good - 6 pts - 1 street walk, one walk with dogs
Scratched my cornea, so missed an entire day of getting stuff done; bummer. Did go to the dr like a good girl.
15 pts - I'll take it. Let's hear some other's points!!
-
Haven't checked in lately but my points haven't been too high. After emergency surgery for an appendix that was very long and had wrapped around my colon ending up in the removal of both the appendix and 6 inches of colon (lucky, lucky me - they're even writing it up for a medical journal) I lost 10 pounds - that was in May. Now the weight is coming back on however, the doc finally gave me permission to exercise again. Hopefully this week I'll be able to post some good news. You gals are the only ones who make me accountable so Thank You!
-
Wow, now I'm guilty. I totally forgot to check in until now. Down a little, but every little bit helps.
Wt (171.0) ~ 2
water ~ 7
exercise ~ 16 Jillian Michaels Body Revolution almost every day...whew I love to hate Jillian!
