Thanks Juliet.. My work week was already Sat-Wednesday and it is good to have the weekend off from rushing out to rads....my work adjusted my schedule so I get off an hour early to make it to the oncology center before they stop for the day but that means I start an hour early in the morning..I started to fit in naps last week and I sadly quit the gym which isnt such a huge loss really ..I had just joined and it was becoming a chore and the one group excercize class I was going to was kicking my azzzzzz....
Sorry I missed the show last night ladies.....I pooped out early.
Nice to meet you Bernie. Im ran accross your group the other day..Im pretty new to all of this. Your group is a perfect fit for me.....so whats your poison?
Happy Monday !!!

Chrissie, that is da greatest newz to hear. So glad you are doing well and feeling goot too!!
Cyndie, I had my uterus out when I was 40, and loved NOT having that monthly nightmare of gift us ladies were blessed with, but why does she want to take yours out? How old are you, if you don't mind my asking. Are you triple positive?
Kathy, I did not know what sambuca was. Ick, whiskey and black licorice. Have a fun lunch date with your mom and DD.
WHAT? I missed a stripping?
Bernie, thank you for helping with those stats.....LOL.
Juliet, are you a nurse?
NM, hope your weekend was good.
BEANS............where are you??????
Well, tiz Monkey Day! What shall we have.........hmmmm.
CHEEKY MONKEY
- 2/3 measure creme de cacao dark
- 2/3 measure Bailey's Irish Cream
- 2/3 measure creme de bananes
pour creme de cacao into a tall shot glass, layer Baileys on top, and pour creme de bananes into baileys so it settles in between the two. Neck it in one mouthful.

Monkey Day....love it.. I want to know why the HE double toothpicks the rads therepists cant understand that on Monkey Day, Tue and humpday I cant get there until 415pm....They are totally stressing me out ...its stressfull enough to have to go in the first place...ugghh.
Lori...Im 47..I had a huge iron deficiency prior to my dx so that combined with the extra estrogen produced by the lovely gift we girls are blessed with monthly my MO thought it best to just stop it and take it all out...He also said taking Tomoxifin increases the risk of ovarian and uterin cancer...so I say take the sheeiit OUT...I haven needed it in years anyway..I am ER and PR positive..what is HER2? Im confused on the grade rating also..I dont remember being told a grade.
Hope everyone has a great Monkey Day :0)

Hiya goils,
Happy MonKeyDey!! And tanks Wahine Katwrinkadoodle for spaining de deys of de week to Cyndie and Kay. You goils will catch on quickly, wese one cqauzzzy bunch of goils!!
Saying some prayers for our dear Allison, seems her surgery was cancelled due to low WBC count. Booooo. Sending you hugs my dear Alli. I love you!
Bernie, another good one, thank you! Good to see you back.
Anyone want to join me in sailabrating? De verdict is already in on mese accident and de dick in de Hummer is going to pay for the damage to mese car. Yippeee! Did you all know that most of our cars are now equipped with EDR's (event data recorders)? These little computers are like having Big Brother watching us. Not sure why Hummer boy changed up his story again in admitting fault in a recorded statement but suspect he knew about these EDR's. Once I get paid for the claim, I will be contacting his employer to see what they are going to do about him lying in the police report. Na na na na na na, Dick in a Hummer has to pay up!
Who wants to join me for some Cheeky Monkey's??
Cheers!
-
Hi Cyndielou! Just back in from Key Largo! So was sort of in your neighborhood, you are south of Tampa, right?
Will post some pics, had a blast, finally diving deep and my foobs didn't explode, yay me! Just catchin' up, am a big beer goil, IPA, stout and right now lemon shandy. You got a favorite style?

. I look forward to your beer posts. Off to start my 3rd rads week....blech.
-
Allison, I am SO sad for you.....not fun to have surgery, but by golly when we NEED to have it, and schedule it, and arrange to be off for it, THAT SUCX BIG TIME that it can't go on as planned. Hope you can get the WBC's up....not sure how to do that, but hoping you do. Did he give you any idea of WHEN you can reschedule? Doctors sometimes are SO uncaring....we all love you here, and will all surround you with a great big hug.....OK??? Can you feel ALL our arms around you???? (((((((((((ALLISON)))))))))))
Hiya Scooby, SOOOO glad to have you back in the lounge! Hope you and DorkiePoo get to meet up on Friday....and......anxious to see pics of your dives!
Yeah Bernie, you always write the funniest things!
OK....it is waaaaay too early, but surely it is 5pm SOMEWHERE....so joining ya Dorkie in dwinks to cewebrate that your car will get fixed by the A$$hole that hit you!!! What is this about EDR'S? They can tell how an accident happened? Wow! So glad that creep is having to pay for and admit what he did. *ka-chink*....here's to you, girl!
Had such a nice lunch out with my mom and DD...beautiful day while we were out...then the skies opened up...had to drive back home in a downpour. Trying to organize my office room a bit....anyone wanna help? All the dwinks you want. Hmmmm......no takers.....guess you are all SO smart and know all the dwinks at the HTL are free anyway.....shucks! LOL.
HUGZZZZZZ!

BEAUTIFUL pictures, Lisa!!!!
Are you here for Pau Hana? I noticed the Tattie Tenders restocked the beer selection...hope you find several you like!
Dorkie, you here? NM? Alli? Lori? Juliet? Sue? Beans? Kristy? Cyndie? Chrissy? Bernie? Gail? Kay? Karen? Kymn? Heather? Did I miss someone??? Ohhhhhh don't tell me I have the Tattie Tenders all to meself!
Would rather have you girlz to dwink with and chat with though... -
Scuby, welcome back! Love your diving photos. Yes, we are still on for Friday. My DD is driving me this time.
Alli, I hope you are doing alright, berry sorry about your WBC, have some dwinkies, you will feel better!
Katwinkawawa, it is nebber too eary to dwink, I am here dwinking too. Here is some info on the EDR Technology from my owners manual. Very interesting stuff, to say the least. Big Brother is watching us all de time. I had no idea about any of this:
This vehicle is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) The main purpose of an EDR is to record, in certain crash or crash like situations, such as air bag deployment or hitting a road obstacle, data that will assist in understanding how a vehicles systems performed.
The EDR in this vehicle is designed to record such data as:
How various systems in your vehicle were operating.
Whether or not the driver and passenger seatbelts were fastened.
How far, if at all, the driver was depressing the accelerator/brake pedal
How fast the vehicle was traveling. -
WOW.....impressive, Dorkie! Our newest car is now 5 yrs old...wonder if it has it? Here, I am handing you anudder Jack 'n Coke.....told Mr. Bigger to KEEP your dwinks refilled ALL NIGHT!!! Here's to ya.... *ka-chink*
-
Katwinka, check your owners manual, it will tell you if you have it. GM's had it first and have it on all their current vehicles. I checked DH's truck and sure enough, he has it too. They use these often in fatal accidents to find out who did what. I read that the manufacturers also use them to void warranties. If you say you blew a rod in your engine, they can tell if you hit it in 1st gear up to 100 mph and will void the warranty. ohh, tank you for de dwink. Here is a Seagrams and diet jest for you! Let's partay!
-
Did I miss Pau Hana (happy hour??) Sooooo glad the beer cooler has been restocked..I was getting scared...... Could always try one of those cool concotions Lori posts..they look yummy.
Lisa, Love the scuba pics!!!! Hope we can see more.
Dorothy...its crazy what technology has progressed to .... Im still in awe of On Star.
....can someone get the attention of the tattie tender for another Natty light plz?
-
Pants, get Cyndie a Natty light please, pronto! Oh, I see Mr. Big already took good care of you. It's never too late for happy hour nor too early to drink, drink up, looks like you have two of dem and wow, it is not even twosdey yet, lucky you!
I am on my 2nd monkeydey cocktail... bottoms up and titz up too! Who else is here dwinking, ennybuddy??
Cheers!
-
Well, I'm drunk. Jus sayin. Will try to come back tomorrow(since I'm off of freaking work for a surgery that won't happen!) and post a more positive update. Love u girls so much. Dork, was gonna call u, then my last client thought it might cheer me up to bring her husband with her and a couple of pizzas. Thank god for wine. No, Really, THANK U GOD FOR WINE!!!!!! Now if I just had an ocean front place to visit, I would be on my way. Seriously.
-
Aww, my heart is so sad for you Allison. I would have called you but knew you were working so left the option there for you. Anytime, love, I am here for you. Of all de goils, I tink I understand de most. I have a lot of fear in having my surgery cancelled. When my people asked me why on earth I did not call the police after being hit on Fried-dey, I told dem dat I feared missing my blood draw, den having de surgery cancelled and having to go de fark back to work! I would die if that happened. I hope that you feel better tomorrow. If you find that ocean front place, lemme know. I do not have to be anywhere until Fried-dey morning. I'd invite you to the NJ beach but the weather is rainy all fn week, my first vacation week in two years (prior travels have all happened while on STD (for Lori, that is Short Term Disabiity, not a sexual trans disease despite the rumors of me and mr big (who left me for anudder woman, de male ho!)....
So calling all loungettes, it is a partay. we can make it a pity party if need be, I am in! A party is a partay is a partay!
Party on goils! Love you all. And missing my Beanie de most. Feeling a widdle emotional todey. Too much time to tink....
Pants, anudder round for all yese. If de goils no reporto, mese dwinko all dere dwinks. So dere!
Cheers, no fears and dwink dem beers!
-
....getting the UFO all stocked up so we can just all find an island somewhere and just relax, swim, sun, dwink, and dwown our sowwows. Yeah, Dotty, you sure do unnerstand best how Alli was feeling. SO close to your surg date, and so many arrangements have been made....not surprized at all that you didn't call the pole-ese when dat a$$hole hit ya.
C'mon galz, hurry da heck up....gotz to pick ebbery1 up toonite so we kin find dat island!!! I'm sure Scoobs could come up wid some nice pwaces. Now that we know Mr. Bigger lives up to his name (thanx to da *show* he put on last night)....he wuz da first TT recruited to join us! OH, looks like Pants, Jock, and Hunk are busting their bums trying to make us happy so we will bwing all of dem wid us too. Nuttin wrong wid a widdle competishun. Like Dorkie said..."A party is a partay is a partay!" (Love your sign off Dorkable....weally cute!).
Tiny bubbles in da wine.......make me happy.....make me feel fine.....
-
Morning my darlings, can't sleep - again.
-
I's on me roof top waiting for de UFO. It is stocked and being fueled up now, yippee, we going to de beach. I gotz me moontan lotion, mese likker and mese fwends. What more could I wish for?
Sweet dreams, all yese. See you on de island!
ps Hiya Bernie. Sorry you can't sleep. I do it for you if you dwink for me, otay? Love you!
-
LMAO.....Love your "moontan lotion" Dorkaroni.
Yeah Bernie, Hate it that you can't sleep. Usually melatonin does it for me, but if I am REALLY stressed (like last week), then I add a zanax to the mix; usually works. Is there anything you can take that might help?
OK now this is just plain weird...ordered a custom Mothers Day card for my mom about 3 wks ago....was shipped, but never delivered (got as far as TX!). OK, so wrote to them Sat eve, knowing it wouldn't arrive by Sunday (duh), so asked what they could do. SHOULD have said could you credit my acct so I can make a different card for something else. Because now they are sending a replacement, OVERNIGHT, and paying $13 shipping charge...for a CARD?????????? Doesn't quite mean the same, arriving late, since I made her one at the last minute, but.......????? Maybe they are dwinking on da job!
ChEARS Dears!!!
Katwinka
-
good morning all, packed my cossie, ready for some swimming.got some summer cider chillin, how about somebuffalo chicken wraps and beef curry and rice. bernie i use the extended release melatonin ,does help,
-
Good morning, Loungettes! Just a quick pop in before heading in to work for boring meeting then meeting with the supervisor. Last weeekend was long and busy, with computer problems added to the mix just for fun. I wound up finishing up all the paperwork, etc around 11 yesterday morning. Another week with overtime, blah. I'm sure that's one of the issues I'll get scolded about later this morning. Anyway, gotta run, try to be back later.
