Hello, Anyone Over 70????

Hi Claudia: Haven't heard from you in a while. Congratulations on the birth of your GGD. Mine is one year old already! We're having her birthday party here at our house today.
Congratulations on reaching the great age of 70..I'll be 72 in June, but I don't feel that old. I got through my surgery fine, didn't need chemo, and opted out of rads. I'm doing some IV infusions, taking supplements, following my anti cancer diet, and taking tamoxifen, which my BS said was very important to keep the bc from recurring or spreading. Hopefully it works!
We've got two grands graduating next week, then we're off to NC for the summer and fall.
This thread hasn't been very active lately, but I have it on my favorites, so your message popped up...glad I caught up with you as you helped me a lot when I was first dx. Thanks!

Granny, girlfriend.................so glad to see you back..........hope your son is ok, and you too.........miss you when your not here, or on any of the other threads....................love ya girlfriend........
Chabba............Hey lady............good to see you too.............let's start this "thread" hopping, and jumping again................I guess I'm to blame too........haven't come here either........
Claudia...don't think we have ever met, but how the hell are you..........your welcome on this thread, and so glad to see you..........love new faces..............(well new to me anyway)..........we have a great bunch of gals here, a little rough around the edges (we are), but we love each other, and that is what counts.............
Just to familiarize you with me........I'm from Pa. as you can see, 6 children 54 to 43,............18 grandchildren.........29 to 11.........................2 great grandaughters....identical twins and they are 15 months old..................on Femara, and it is beating the shit out of me.............but I'm surviving, and that is what counts..................Have a home in Cape May Beach NJ, and can't wait to open the place up.....love the sumemr, and my shore home.................Oh forgot to mention.............had a husband, he died 20 years ago of Pancreatic cancer..........somehow I survived it after he was gone....we never know how strong we are until we're tested..............ok Claudia......come back often......don't be a stranger, your gonna love it here..........and don't forget to bring your "RED SOLO CUP".............................ask the ladies, they'll tell you all about it.........hahahahahahahahaha ...................love and hugs............
-
Ducky, I hope you won't ban me, Yoyo, my dog, got hold of my last red solo cup and all I could find at the store were blue ones. Are they ok too?

Sheila--my son is goin for another opinion...dont know when cause they all kicked me out.lol.glad about it too.i caused everyone including the drs and techs too much stress.fine with me.
my son does have an aneurism but the drs feel they want to leave it alone.he was in an accident with head injury over 20 yrs.ago and feel its not a threat.of course i dont but the family is gonna take care of all the next steps.
im tired, cranky and dont want to hear anymore. The family wants to take care of it without me so be it.
my GD the vet knows everything(or so she thinks) so im waiting for them to let me know when the second opinion will happen...in the one horse town they live in only GOD know when.
Sheila----how are you feeling?
We gotta do that reunion....
hugggggs everyone K
