AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11

Yes, Thank You Sheila!!!

Hi, recorded and just saw the show. I too think PP is a cutie but not the singer the others are. I think it is going to be Joshua, the girls are just that, girls. Imagine them in 5 years at 21. That really says it, 5 years until 21.
Laters all

Joshua gives his all, he is learning still so I find him quite amazing, love R & B anyway. Imagine him in five years too when he has more voice range. But for the stage, he is perfect, he knows how to fllirt w the camera, how to put on the act for each song he chooses. AI wants someone to fill the job, he can do it.
Jessica's voice is absolute, but she is too young to do the AI job, just too immature, it shows in so many ways.
Hollie, good voice, growth excellent but not an AI.
Phillip, love listening to him but he is not exceptional in voice, by any means. But he is an exceptional artist, love the vibe of his music.
I liked Skylar, she could have carried the AI position, she was a natural.
But I love Joshua, esp since it is my music choice.
THE VOICE - watched every moment, thoght Jermaine would not have thebest voice until the end when I realized he had been singing in the wrong range for him. He was outstanding on Soul Man. But Juliette was always outsstanding, she knew her voice and style moreso. Chris, not so much to me. The other guy, he could have won too, but he was more about stage performance than voice, you had to have both to enjoy him.
Love reading all the opinions.

Hi Blessings! My son, who is in a band and involved in acting and filming too, would agree with you. He says they scan from the very beginning looking for talent that also has a sad story or other dramatic appeal....but at this point I like to think America really does get to pick. Of course a lot of voters are influenced by the judges comments. I like ALL of them now. I agree that Joshua and Jessica are likely to be the final two.....but in answer to another question from CMBear, I would buy music from Phillip Phillips over any other. I can't stop smiling when he sings!
-
Hollie is the only one I would buy a cd from. With the right grooming she could eventually be another Kelly Clarkson or Gwen Stefani and sell tons of music. Jessica needs more years on her being only 16. I think Hollie is 19. Wouldn't buy PP. The last song he dis last night I thought was terrible. He is just a strange musician. As for Joshua I don't like his screaming. He was born in the wrong error. He should have lived in the 50's. lol.
-
Hollie is 18 according to the AI webpage. unless she just had a birthday. Still she seems older that Jessica.
-
Waiting for David Cook
-
Yeah!! Me too, I love me some DC!
-
OK... Why wasn't PP in the Ford commercial?
-
Seaside.....Maybe he slept late. lol
-
OMG Sheila... Now that cracked me up!! I did get him a really nice bed so maybe that WAS it!
-
Hello! Waiting for Cook too. Yippee!
-
He hasn't done one for 3 or 4 weeks now
-
I wondered the same thing, no PP in the car. Driving taxi for my grandkids sporting events, I listened to David Cook at full blast. Such a distinguished voice and tone, he was definitely that season's AI.
-
Karen...Absolutely it was one of the best season
♥DC♥
-
What a performance, he has such a distinctive voice. I see he has a new album, will have to pick that up.
-
I think the contestants are very young this year......
They should have 2 AI...one for under 20 and one for over 20
I watched X Factor last year and enjoyed it...if anybody interested we can watch it together...starts in September...
-
Oh no! Jennifer singing and dancing. Where's her underage boy toy?
-
I'm feeling a little embarrassed for her........
-
And what is she wearing?
-
I love the song not the acts.....
i'm just listening
-
rosasmommy: I hear ya. I listened to this song on the radio and turned the station.
Her outfit is quite conservative.
-
Was that a bodysuit and tights, talk about a V-neck!!! She is quite the performer.
-
Ok.... Entertainment over... Who's it gonna be?? I'm thinking Hollie....
-
Me Too.....
-
They are reeeeeaaalllyyy dragging this out.
-
cmbear...Result show used to be half an hour in recent years.......
-
Karen, aside from the extreme V-neck and the moves, J's outfit looked like something you would see at a dance recital... Kinda odd... But she is still one hot momma and I would love to resemble her even just a pinch!
-
No surprises so far
-
Sad a bit, but not surprised.... She lasted longer than anyone one thought she would, including me but, she had shown so much growth in the recent weeks that I thought she might have a chance....
