AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11

I loved PP's song. Perfect
Bravo....Bravo.......
-
Wow, PP that was beautiful! It made me stop and really watch and listen. He has found what he's looking for.
-
Hollie is peaking now and I think she is actually out shining Jessica. The boys duet was fun partly cause they had fun doing it. The girls was off-- Jessica singing low was just not right. PP song just now is my kind of music. It wasn't the usual power ballad or Whitney imitation. He definitely is following a different drummer.
-
Wonderland...It was a Kodak moment....i also stopped everything and watched him
So far this is the first time a contestants song touched me deeply....
Good Job ((♥PP♥))
-
Yes -- PP was the highlight of the show so far!
-
The top 2 PP and Hollie?????????????
-
Hollie - didn't get the emotion out of her song.
-
Have to agree---she is too big of a singer for that song. Just belting it out and pounding your chest doesn't show emotion.
-
PP's song was so right for him, really made me too stop and really listen to him, he was perfect!! I think, unfortunately, the judges just sealed Hollie's fate, I hope not. OK get yourself ready for some screaming from Joshua and another standing ovation.
-
hahahahahahahahaha (((Karen))
-
Hi fellow fans! I guess this is the place to get a preview since I'm 3 hours later getting to see the performances lol! This season really has been great! Holly has improved before our eyes and they're ALL so great it's hard to pick a favorite......I was sad to see Skyler go though!
-
I know, I know, another standing ovation for Joshua. But it was really GOOD!
-
Prediction: Jessica is about to sing another song WAY to big for a 16 year old to sing. It will be good but she's TOO YOUNG for the song and I think the judges will tell her so.
-
PP and Joshua for the top two?
-
He was good, he's a go to church singer, perfect for a James Brown song.
-
Jessica did great -- thought it was a good song choice for her.
-
Okay, my prediction was wrong. Jessica really, really, sang the he!! out of that song!
(But Judge Wonderland thinks it's not a song that a 16 year old truly understands.
)
-
Oh Lordy ladies.... I'm posting and ducking tonight but, I thought that performance by Jessica was very good......
-
Wow! I think we have the final 2. Josh and jessica.
-
Judge Sheila loved Jessica
-
Jessica did a great job, absolutely beautiful, Hollie goes home, then PP and it comes down to Joshua and Jessica.
-
I'm agreeing with Karen and GreenEyes: Joshua and Jessica will be the Final 2.
-
Judges have picked their top two! Let's see if America agrees. The question is who would you buy music from?
-
Mimi, we missed you, I understand exactly what you are feeling. It's a big voices year. I still think PP's second song was dynamite without the screaming, I got lost in it.
-
cmbear, obviously I would buy PP's, he is a listenable (I know that's not a word) singer, given the right mix of songs. I can see me sitting in my favorite chair listening with my headphones on.
-
Hi all, I caught the last 45 minutes....working late.
... looks like the 2nd songs were pretty telling.
Wonderland - your prediction about Jessica was not really off...my reaction was she was singing a song like an older woman in a little girl's body....something didn't fit..and the song didn't grow on me.
I thought Hollie got a bad deal from the judges. I listened mostly and did not like the vibrate in the start....but she turned it down and gave what I thought was a genuine performance that was beautiful ... she still needs to grow.
Joshua....yes, a great performance and one of the only ones to bring it to a higher level each week....but oh, that screaming....
Phil stole my heart tonight....perfect song #2...anyone else would have sounded pretty meek with that song. He was good.
Sheila - you said it perfectly - it doesn't matter who wins. No faves here....but I do think Phil is very talented.
Have a good night, all!
Joan -
chachamom - I'm in Cali, too...just getting ready to watch.
I just have this horrible feeling that the outcome was decided WEEKS ago.
The way the judges fawn and slobber all over Joshua (not to mention the ridiculous, undeserved standing ovations) is soooo obvious and over-the-top.....
It's like they're telling America - HERE IS YOUR AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!
Somewhere in the fine print it says that the producers of the show have the final say on the outcome.
YA THINK?
-
Enjoy the show blessing
PP's winning performance......
-
I thought Joshua was amazing! ( his style reminds me of Fantasia in some ways); Hollie and Jessica were both excellent; Philipp really really needs to go home! He's good, but nowhere near the level of the other 3.

Thank you Sheila, that was just as beatiful the second time around!
