Dancing with the Stars

Melissa was by far the poorest dancer out there.....sigh.
-
Happened to catch the last five minutes, only to find out that Melissa was safe. Whaaaaa??????
-
I think Jaleel knew he was leaving and took his best shot at Len! It seems like Len took it in good spirits anyway and it was funny! I'm glad Roshan is getting another chance. If they don't do the dance off again next week and the elimination is between Roshan and Melissa, we know Melissa will end up staying because she has the larger fan base. Also, I heard there was going to be a double elimination next week, so they will both probably go, and we'll be left with four...Maria, Katherine, Don and William. Derek is so good...he might just pull it off with Maria! They have such synergy together.
-
Double elimination tomorrow ! Should be interesting!
-
The second dances are great tonight, trio dances. I just don't know which two will be sent home tomorrow.
Sheila
-
Yes I think most of the trio dances were better than the first!
-
Wow...good dances tonight. I have to admit Donald deserved 10's. He was robbed!
Roshon - was too adorable with his grandmas. He is adorable and dancing his heart out!Len cracked me up with..."Two skinny fries chasing the ketchup"....bawahahahaha!!!!
Katherine - was classic as always. She is a good dancer.
William...was so hot!!!! OMG, I had to crank down the a/c. Loved the Paso Doble with Toni.
Hope they keep the trio dance. It really showcases how much the celeb has grown as a dancer.
Overall, great night!
-
Odalys, are you really me? lol ~I ask because we so often think the same things about the show!
Most adorable part of the show~Roshon's grandmas!!!! Loved them!
Yes, the trio dances were a terrific idea.
Wow, Donald, Peta & Karina!!!! They were smokin' hot! My favorite dance of the entire season! They very much deserved 10s across the board!
-
Divine - hehehe...great minds think a like. The grandma's were a great touch.
Hey, get this...there must be a glitch with the online voting. I got to vote twice...12 votes. Gave Roshon and Katherine some of my extra votes but hunky Levy got most of them. Seeing him always sends me into a hot flash....LOL Ay!
-
I didn't care for Melissa's first outfit/costume. It was awful & so was the dance. Carrie Anne must have a great stylist because every week she looks so good; I loved her green outfit tonight. Roshon & Chelsea's first ensemble seemed a bit odd-he had the plaid suit & she wore polka dots. It was a little distracting but then they performed such an adorable dance number that I forgave them about the outfits, lol.
LOVED William & Cheryl's first dance.
I have to say, I'm getting a little tired of so many of the guys doing that dancing on their knees routine. Enough already.
For that reason, I especially liked Derek & Maria's "Bollywood" trio dance. It was so totally unique and well done. You can always count on Derek to come up with something amazingly creative like that each season. He can be such a genious.
-
The show tonight was great. I thought the judges were particularly harsh on a couple of the dancers and gave others a fly by. I don't know why Don and Peta didn't get 10's for their number..it was just as good as the others. Roshan was great...good to see him at the top of the boards. Unfortunately, I'm afraid he doesn't have enough fan base to keep him through the double elimination, but he will go out on top at least. I think the other one that will go is Melissa.
-
divine - I didn't care for the Bollywood/Samba. Where was the Samba? My brain didn't compute. Dereck was shocked he got a 7. I think that was his first 7 ever...very telling. I'd like to see how well he does paired up with a challenged dancer.
What do you guys think of Maks behavior? He seems all fed up! WTH is going on with him? It can't all be from last season. I think he has some anger management issues.
-
kaara - we were posting at the same time. I agree. The judges were really harsh on some and not others. Donald and Peta deserved 10's. I hope Roshon gets to stay but not sure considering how tough the competition is now. He made his grandmas proud so he is a winner in my book!
-
I am so bad.
I LOVE Katherine, but when she got that pant leg stuck on her shoe I couldn't stop laughing!!!!
She's a class act, and handled it very well, but I sure must have needed a laugh tonite!!!!
-
What a great night of dancing! Got to say WOW to Donald, Peta & Karina doing the jive.
We usually only get to see DD's fancy footwork on the football field.
I wonder if the stars teach their husbands/wives/partners to dance so they can keep it up.
Maybe I'm thinking of "Shall We Dance" with Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, and Stanley Tucci in a great supporting role. Good movie to rent if you haven't already seen it.
-
badger, that movie was really good, I've seen it several times.
Last nite's show was really good. That's what I call entertainment. What I love about DWTS is you can have the adorableness of the grandmas at one point, the sexiness of Donald's trio samba at another, the live element of 'oh there's a pant leg stuck on my shoe but I gotta keep dancing' and it's all wrapped up in one show. I love Tom as the host, he has just the right amount of humor and respect and professionalism to keep it all moving.
-
No doubt about it....a great show! This has been one of the best seasons for all around good dancers. On the three way last night, I sometimes couldn't tell the pros from the celebs. I hate to see Max act up the way he has been doing...he used to be so charming. Derek had a little meltdown...am I imagining it or is there something going on between him and Maria? It might be a put on for the show, but they seem a little toooo close for comfort. He was all over her last night.
I'll definitely rent that movie....I love sexy Richard Gere....even more now with his distinguished grey hair! I'm going on Netflix right now before I forget!
-
Was at a long, boring meeting last night, so taped DWS and watched late into the night. Other than Melissa, who is improved but still not 'there', I don't want ANYONE to go home tonight!!!!
-
WTH happened to this forum? Did the format change overnight?
Yeah.....Donald's trio is the encore danceagain...love it! He should have gotten triple 10's.
Ruth - the only that should go home tonight is Melissa. The rest are all such good dancers. Oops, as I am typing this....Katherine is in jeopardy. Oh, nooooooo. BRB.
-
I agree, best season ever. I hope that Katherine having an off night doesn't eliminate her. I think Melissa and Roshon will be the two to go.
-
Poor Roshan, he did so good last night. Weird they announced one eliminated dancer in the middle of the show!
-
There goes Roshon.
-
How come Katherine is "in jeopardy" but Roshon got sent home right away? Weird!
-
I think it will be Melissa next unless she has a bigger fan base than I think!
-
I think because she's not as well known, so she doesn't have as much of a fan base here in America. I listened to some of her stuff on YouTube and while it's not my kind of music, she has an amazing voice. She's beautiful, she sings awesomely, she can dance, she seems very pleasant... she's one successful woman and just an amazing person. I cannot fathom that she will go. I still think it will be Melissa.
-
There goes Melissa...
-
Yes! By, bye, whiney Melissa. Finally!!!!!!
-
I'm thinking they probably had Katherine in jeopardy just for drama and to easy the blow for Melissa. There is no way Katherine scored lowered than Maria.
-
Melissa did about as well as I expected since the show started.
Oh, I was thrilled to see Donald dance the jive again with Peta & Karina. Everyone at work talked about how they'd been robbed by not getting a perfect score for that dance.
Sooooo, at this point, it is almost ANYONE's game.....or should I say Mirror Ball Trophy!?!?!?!!
-
I hated to see Roshan eliminated...and I thought the remark comparing him to Obama was rude! I don't like that guy..his stuff is tasteless, and just filler for the show. Melissa needed to go, and Max should take a break to get his head back on straight.
