Chrissy, glad to know you are finally home. We all know, "There's no place like home". Hope you were able to have a few drinks and relax! Welcome Home!!!! You just make sure you behave yourself and not over do. I think we should send at least one Tender back, to keep you in check.
Katrinka my dear dinka, we are leaving tomorrow and staying in Laughlin, then will head to L.V. on Monday, picking up Lilian at L.V. airport, as she is doing the show with us. It is so good to have her, as she is Tawainese and can translate with the Chinese vendors for us. Then do the show Tues. and Wed, home Thursday. Funny about your G'son asking what you are laughing about, my DH does the same thing to me, and of course it's cuz I'm in The HTL.

Karen, LOL at going back to see what your DD said. I often wonder, if when I try to catch up on pages of posts that I have missed, from being gone is worth it. Wondering if anyone really remembers what I'm responding to! You DD's comment was about knowing you her whole life, or something like that.
Bummer Mema that you foygot the Agent Orange, did you go back and print it off? Funny how you were callin DorK out, and walla.................dere she iz, as pwomised.
DorK, I record that show "Undercover Boss". I love it, and it usually makes me cry, cuz they always do such nice things in the end. WTG for your little Jessica, can tell what a proud mommy you are. Let her know that we are proud of her too. After the sailabrashun. I am always amazed, when you see such young kids doing something like that. So glad that Stella is able to hep you werk. And I must say YOU are one of da bestest posters, and we misses you muchliest when you iz werking sew much.

This is the signature drink of the Breeders' Cup World Championships which features race sponsor Grey Goose Vodka. It first appeared in 2007 and the recipe has changed each year as they tweak it, but this is the 2010 version served at Churchill Downs.
Prep Time: 2 minutesTotal Time: 2 minutes
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
1 1/2 parts Grey Goose Vodka
1/2 part blue curaçao
1 part lemon lime soda
1 part cranberry juice
1 part sweet and sour mix
Preparation:Add all ingredients to a tall glass filled with ice. Shake or stir vigorously and serve over ice. Garnish with a fresh blackberry and a slice of lemon.

Churchill Downs
The Mint Julep may be the official drink of the Kentucky Derby, but if you're looking to break from tradition and put your own spin on Derby Day imbibing, this cocktail from Blokes & Birds in Chicago offers some delicious inspiration. Named in honor of the racetrack that hosts Kentucky's famous horse race, this twist on the classic Mint Julep calls on fresh basil, pineapple and reposado tequila for a refreshing sipper that's a cinch to make, giving you plenty of time to jockey for a spot closer to the tv.
2 oz. reposado tequila
1 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
6 fresh basil leaves
3 fresh pineapple cubes
Cubed and crushed ice
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer
Glass: small Julep or rocks
Garnish: fresh basil leafIn the base of a shaker, gently muddle pineapple and basil. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice cubes. Strain into a Julep cup or rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish and serve with a straw.

Hi drinkin' buddys-
I only have to read back a few posts to remember why I love this thread! Haven't posted here in a long time, but just know - being the team player that I am, I margarita'd last night with some girls from work, then tonight.....a glass or two or so of wine mysteriously appeared in my hand!
I'm just going to roll with it for now :-)
Cheers,
Donna

wow....,the HTL has been busy the past 24+ hours!!!! on my 2nd glass of cabernet.....Got my T-shirt for the Israel RFTC which is on May 3rd (DD#1's 26th bday)...sure wish I could be there...I signed up as a "virtual" participant....they sent me a race bib, the race t-shirt (which is really cool per DD#2 words) and a 2012 survivor t-shirt....I will wear the race t-shirt on Thursday...even though there is an 8 or 9 hour time difference bu the time I get up the race will be over, I will still wear it..and I will make sure I walk the 5k......I can't wait till I can be in Israel to do the race again...
Trying to plan out my summer....DH doesn't mind if I go to Isreal again this summer and gone while DD is home....I need to take an ethics class that is being offered July 9 and 10th, so if I go to Israel I either need to go before DD goes to camp or be gone after she gets home from camp....also trying to figure out if I can crew for the Avon 3 day....so I have my work cut out for me to decide on my summer plans......Some of those plans include walking, walking and walking and drinking lots of water, water and more water for I can take off 10 - 15 #.....Well, going to go read some other threads...sweet dreams...
