If so, what does your medical onco say about your tumor? My experience has been a mixed bag...chemo and treated like a triple negative (so says my medical onco), but I'm on antihormonal (although she said there isn't a great liklihood that it will help me). I am interested because of stats....is our risk of recurrence with the triple negatives or the estrogen positives? There is not much out there on this type of tumor.

don't know much about this-- there is a section on the board for "mixed types" of bc-you might try there.

    Hi Mommand2kids

If you look at my signature, you'll see that my diagnosis is very similar to yours!

From what I've read, only about 7 per cent of tumours have our profile so it is not that common.

However, the way the oncology team is treating me is to concentrate on the HER2+ (positive re Herceptin) and throw the book at everything else so I am on chemotherapy and will start immunotherapy (Herceptin) for a year and am also having rads too!

That said, I was luck to have a mastectomy with clear margins, no lymph node invasion and no blood invasion. I'm waiting to hear if I have a tiny bone met but that seems unlikely.

    So good luck with yours.

How do the oncs plan to treat you?

    Best wishes
