4TH TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!!!!

LOL Jancie.....and a few country bumpkins....
-
All right Pam... I'll ask the hubby tonight, but since I wear the pants in the family, I'll really just be telling him I'm going.

Fresh Meat? I love it! LOL
-
Linda - now I expect one of your special fans this year!!! You thought I was kidding a couple of years ago but I wasn't.
Susan - I don't ask - I TELL! However, now I am getting bold because not only do I tell him that I am going but that he is going to drive me to Las Vegas and go disappear for 4 days while I party with the girls.

-
a fan just for you Jancie
-
Susan & Pam, I'm from the Seattle area too and 285 seems to be the cheapest I could find.
-
bcs2011, was that Alaska? we should all get the same flight, i'll keep checking.
Pam
-
Pam, Yes that was with Alaska.
-
That's what I saw on Alaska too. And yes, it would be fun to fly together.

-
Okay, bcs, pumela and susans ... I expect to see you all there this year! last year was my first year and I too was hesitant because I didn't know anybody ... but we'll hook up in Seattle a couple of times before we go and then we'll be old friends
-
Anybody know if DawneHope is able to come? She doesn't live that far from me.
-
frosty, sounds great right about now!
Pam
-
Sounds great frosty!
-
frosty, That would be nice to know a few familiar faces before LasVegas.
-
westieluv - I would so LOVE to come!
I am really nervous and scared to fly with LE. I currently don't have a LE therapist because of insurance reasons. The deal I've made with myself ... is if I can find a private pay therapist who will teach me how to wrap and get a good MLD massage before and after I'm there!
My LE is moderately controlled ... but if things get out of hand from flying ... I'm screwed. There is no where I can go for help.
-
I travel for work lots so i have enough points for a ticket and motel room so i think I will come . I wont know anyone but what the heck shoudl be fun. Asking for time off tomorrw when i go to work
-
kburdic - when the gals met year #1 - none of us knew each other! Each year the group has increased in size so each year there are people that attend that don't know anybody.
This is a fun group and believe me you will have a blast as you get to know everybody and join in the activities that are planned. Nobody is a stranger as far as we are concerned. We are all united by this stupid BC.
-
I'm considering attending this gathering. I've connected once with a few of the Seattle gals once but other than that I haven't been to any support groups, etc... and will be going into this as a Tata's Sisterhood Virgin and like you other newbies, won't know anybody and don't want to feel left out.
I trust that we will all be comfortable and happy with each other. If not, see me and I'll hang out with you! -
SeaShelly, I am a newbie also, so don't worry there will be many of us. Looking forward to seeing my Pac Northwest sisters. There are alot of you, so there will be a crowd!
-
Hi Ladies!!! I've been hanging out on FB too much and decided I'd better get back over here to see what's going on. Miss y'all and can't wait for this year!!!
-
Dawne-Hope - I always wear a sleeve and glove when I fly long distances (put on right before fllying and then leave on about an hour after I land) and it has kept my LE from having issues. Fortunately Vegas is about an hour flight from San Diego.
Don't think that it is possible to feel left out in this group. The most loving, warm, welcoming ladies that I have ever had the priviledge to meet. Missed last year so I am a semi-newbie this year!!!
xo

HEY LADIES!
OK I HAVE NOT SO GOOD NEWS AND GREAT NEWS!!! THE BAD NEWS IS THAT AFTER TRYING AND TRYING TO GET THE MIRAGE TO COME DOWN FROM THEIR SKY HIGH RATE I HAVE HAD NO SUCESS. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THERE IS A HUGE CONVENTION IN TOWN CLOSE TO THE MIRAGE ON OUR REUNION DATES AND THE RATE IS REFLECTIVE OF THAT.
READY FOR THE GREAT NEWS??! PARIS HOTEL WELCOMES US WITH OPEN ARMS AND THE RATE IS $95 PER NIGHT AND ARE YOU READY FOR THIS....NOOOOOO RESORT FEE!! THERE IS A $25 PER NIGHT FEE FOR THE THIRD AND FOURTH PERSON IN ROOMS WITH MORE THAN 2 OCCUPANTS. THE ROOM TAX IS 12%. IT'S IN A GREAT LOCATION AND THE POOL IS GORGEOUS! I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT WE COULD BE IN THE SAME AREA AND I AM WORKING ON GETTING US INTO THE NEWLY RENOVATED ROOMS. PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND BOOK YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW I AM STILL WORKING TO GET US THE BEST DEAL AND I HAVE NOT YET SIGNED A CONTRACT WHICH MEANS WE ARE NOT IN THEIR SYSTEM. WHEN EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE I WILL POST THE BOOKING INFO AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.
SO UNLESS THE MIRAGE CALLS ME WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND COMES WAAAAAAY DOWN ON THEIR PRICE GISELLA AND I FEEL OUR BEST DEAL IS PARIS.
I JUST WANTED TO FILL YOU ALL IN ON WHATS GOING ON. I WILL POST AGAIN IN A FEW DAYS. ALSO IF WE END UP AT PARIS WE WILL STILL HAVE OUR FARWELL GATHERING AT THE MIRAGE'S RUMBAR.
THANKS FOR ALL THE SWEET WORDS IN REGARDS TO MY GRANDMOTHER'S PASSING. IT HAS REALLY BEEN A HARD TIME FOR ME. SO THE KIND WORDS HAVE HELPED.
AGAIN I WILL POST IN A FEW DAYS TO FINALIZE THIS INFO AND WE WILL GET ON WITH THE PLANNING! THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!! -
and Tracey The Paris has a great coffee shop.....Vegas 2010, Joyce and I would take a morning walk from Planet Hollywood to The Paris to get that great coffee!!!
Thanks for all your hard work and all the ones who are behind the scenes working.
-
If it ends up as Paris I think that's great! I know it's a change but that can be lots of fun in my book! Thank you Tracey and Company for all you do!
-
Yeah, I am ok with Change too Tracey. Also....... if they got all the rooms booked on one floor.... closer together.... THAT would be the best thing ever!

Great news on the hotel. Thanks Tracey for all your work on getting this arranged!
Welcome to all the new girls! Will be wonderful to see some more girls from the NW!
Booked flights now. Will be arriving early and hoping to see some of you other 'early arrivals'!
Suzie-I sure hope you will be there this year! We missed you!
-
Tracey - great job!! Considering all of the balls that you have been juggling I am amazed.
Could sit at that restaurant outside Paris with the patio and watch people all day long - - not that we get much time to sit.
Thanks again for all of Tracey and Company's hard work for us. May God bless you as you mourn the loss of your Grandmother. xo
-
That is great!! The Paris is part of the Hilton chain and if you give your Hilton number--You may get a apecial room! In any even t the Hilton is great- location, food, everything!! Thanks Tracy and Gisella...we LOVE it.
-
I am a new member and would like to meet up at the reunion. I live in Los Angeles and will most likely drive...

-
Thank you very much ladies but I have to tell you this year the hotel search was all Tracey. I only got involved at the end while she had the choices narrowed down. Once we get closer to the date we will start working on activities. By the way, Paris also has a Piano Bar if we decided to go there another night. If any of you would like to help in the activities please let me know. As I have said it before, all help in welcome.
Love you all
Hugs
G.
