4TH TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!!!!
Comments

Jancie- Love it! Maybe I can plan it in advance because our anniversary is 10/1 (23 yrs) and my fingers are crossed to make the get together this year. (c:
-
Adey - hope you can make it to Vegas. There are not adequate words to describe how much fun we have, the friendship between the sisters, etc. I don't know of any one person that came one of the years and didn't come back because they didn't enjoy the get-together. We take care of the newbies and make sure they always have something to do or someone to be with. You will never be alone unless you choose to do so.
-
Adey - would love to actually meet you in Vegas! Hope things work out for you to attend this year!
-
Thanks ladies!
-
Wow ~ I wish I had more time to spend there. I am lucky to get to come at all....so I'll just have to enjoy the long weekend. I'll be sure to bring pictures of my Westie baby. She's an old gal now, at almost 12 years. Wouldn't trade her for the world. She was my treatment buddy and just laid with me when I couldn't do anything else.
-
Love the heart-shaped pizza!
-
So it's okay for those of us who don't post much to come? Where I live, I'm so isolated, that I haven't had much chance to interact with fellow members of the cancer club, and I think it would be really cool. I guess what I'm asking, is I don't want to feel left out because it seems like everyone knows everyone else. Okay, I'm going back to 4th grade and being picked last on the teams, but hey - I'm honest!
Jenn
-
You and me Jenn! (c:
I think we'll be most welcomed.
-
Jenn and Adey -- no one is left out. There are group events scheduled every day and all you have to do is join in!
-
Jenn and Adey: We are one big sisterhood...nobody is a stranger for long. Actually, it may take about 3 seconds before someone is hugging you and welcoming you to our group....lol
I too was nervous the first time but it'll be my 3rd year going and BTW, did I mention I already have my flight booked..!!!!!!!
Don't worry, by the time Vegas rolls around, (how many more days Suzie?) you'll feel like you've known us forever!
Terri

I'm in - can't wait to see you all again and welcome to everyone who is "new" to the group. WAHOOOOO

Jenn and Adey - You will not ever feel alone or left out at all. We have newbies joining us every year. You have to remember it went from 25 people the first year to 45 people the 2nd year and I think we had close to 60 people last year. So every year there are newbies joining our get together. The old timers will make sure that you are apprised of everything going on - any changes in plans, etc. I will drag the newbies out of their rooms if I have to and that is a promise!
When there is downtime, there are groups that go shopping, lay out by the pool, gamble and drink, all you have to do is state your preference and you will be told where to meet and what time to meet.
Oh, and there are some that you will always find on the gambling floor.

Are they any ladies that attend that are stage IV? I went to vegas with a group from this board one year but not sure if it was you all. Anyway, I LOVED Vegas and really want to go back but never have anyone to go with.
-
Hi Luann! I'm pretty sure we cover the spectrum of stages. All are welcome!
-
Luann........ nope... it was not us....LOL......... we seem to remember all 50 of us... year after year.....LOL.........................
We do have a few stage 4 sisters........ stage does not matter in our group... just a number.
This will be our fourth year.... and just like the others said... you are WELCOME to join... BCO even sent us a banner last year to use.... each year for pictures.... the banner came kinda late... so we did not get the right picture to send into BCO.... but I HOPE this year.... we can...
