Dancing with the Stars

I know is early in the competittion but do think Katherine is by far the best dancer this season. She is incredible!
-
I like Roshan....he will bring life to the show! The latin guy is a typical heart throb, so he will be fun to watch too. Katherine is elegant....these three will probably be in the finals...unless Roshan doesn't have the fan base to keep him there...then it will be Don and Peta. Some real talent this season, so it will be entertaining to watch. All respectable, and the elimination was fair.
I was embarrassed for Martina having to wear that very unflattering costume. The wardrobe people really screwed up on that one! She should have refused to put it on!
-
I too would have refused to wear something so horrid and unflattering, why why why? Who designed that thing?
I like the sunflower lady too, but they are all so good this time, still I think she might win and yet last yr they sent home the best in teh first weeks.
As for those leg wraps, it was not during the dance which is different and even expected, after all that is part of many dances.... this was right after their first dance when she threw herself onto him full frontal and wrapped both legs and arms around him. This week, no, she was a lady, completely different demeanor and not even 'connected' to him so much emotionally so I imagine he might have even said something to her about respecting him and his wife,or if the show had said it would not be surprised though.
I think I like the new sequence, dance then next week dance and no one sent home until they have more time to get their dance legs, more time to rehearse too. I take it no one has been eliminated, I missed nothing so far then.
-
DianeEssa: Martina got eliminated last Tuesday. I think it was a fair elimination. She was awkward...better keep her day job:)
-
OK, I am pretty mad because I have a meeting both Monday and Tuesday night this week!!!
-
Does anyone remember when Chelsea Hightower made Michael Bolton crawl out of a doghouse with a dog bone in his mouth, right before they did the jive to "Hound Dog"?
Now THAT was embarassing!!!!
-
Blessings, that was one of the worst moments of the show ever. She should never have done that, for one thing, it was incredibly non-creative. Also degrading to Michael Bolton....okay, he wasn't that good of a dancer but she put him in a bad light.
I've never cared for her, for some reason. I love Kym, Cheryl, Edyta (miss her!), and others, but there's something about Chelsea that never clicked with me. HOWEVER, this season, she just sparkles as she dances with that Roshon boy. I don't know him, but I love to watch the two dance. I'm realizing that when a professional has a celebrity with lots of dancing potential, it puts the professional in a much more attractive light.
-
I think in most situations people do their best work when they have quality materials to work with.
-
I sure hope Roshon doesn't get eliminated...I love to watch him dance! Even Len likes him!
-
I hope he stays around too. He is so peppy and fun.
-
Should be a great show tonight!
-
I will miss it tonight and every week for the next 3 weeks. I am at a training session for my new job and am staying at a rustic inn in the mountains of NC with no TV, but they do have WI-FI so I can watch them the next day after work online. I won't read here until I see the shows a day late.

-
An hour and 45 minutes til DWTS in Cali!!!
-
Go ..Levy!!!!!!!!!!!! La vida es un carnaval!!! He made us Cuban-Americans real proud!!!!!
-
William's a natural dancer, and so are a bunch of others on there. This will be a fantastic season.
-
I taped it and just got done watching. Lots of really good dancing tonight!
-
I never thought Bruno could be left so nearly speechless. Just one word for William!
-
I was amazed at the quality of the dancing! Some of the celebrities are so good, you might not be able to tell who's the pro and who's the star. Loved the stories of the most important year of their lives. I had a hard time deciding who should be cut this week.
-
Melissa Gilbert: still trying too hard to look 30; too much cleavage.
Maria Menounos: may have danced beautifully but I couldn't get past the strangeness of hearing "Material Girl" sung that way.
Forgetttable performances: Jaleel, Sherri Sheperd, Gavin Degraw, Jack Wagner, Gladys
Brooke Burke: her hair extensions looked like she clipped them off a horse's tail--stiff and unnatural.
Cheryl Burke - okay, she has a great partner. I also think she is an excellent teacher of dance because she most often seems to take any of her partners far into the competition, and I think that speaks of her style of instruction. Love her.
Katherine: exquisite!
-
My favorite ladies: Katherine (on top of the list), Maria (suprising myself, but I really liked her dance), and I thought that Melissa (who I hadn't liked at all before) was much improved. I didn't think that Sherri or Gladys really did much dancing in their performances. As to the men: I loved Donald and William's performances, and Rhoson was fun. The rest were so-so in my book.
Fun season!
-
I think Katherine was the top performer last evening, with William a close second. I knew when Roshan did his MJ version of the samba that Len would rebel and give him a lower score. Why don't they know that about him by now! I'd like to see Roshan survive, but unless his fan base improves, he's in trouble.
-
I think Gladys will be next to go.
-
And what's with all the tears--from the guys?
-
They're getting in touch with their sensitivity. I think it's great when a guy cries. My BF cries at all the sad movies...more than I do sometimes, and he's very caring and sensitive...most of the time that is:)

GREAT RECAP! I agree completely!!!
I do love me some Gladys Knight, but every performance is hesitant and unsure, as if she's afraid she'll break a hip. Seriously, I'm not trying to be mean about her age (she's only six years older than me), but she is SO uncertain out there on the dance floor!
You also mentioned before about how Mark looks so spastic with his dance moves, and darn it - that's all I noticed about him last night!
What is it about Melissa Gilbert? Used to LOVE her, now every time I see her, she looks, well, mean or unhappy......guess I'm still expecting Little House On The Prairie...
Ahhh...Brooke Burke Charvet....the original Stepford Hostess.....makes me grit my teeth whenever she starts her inane questioning of the couples before the scores are released!
Good thing I'm not very opinionated, huh?
I predict that Gladys or the hat guy....uh.....Gavin...will go home tonight. No, wait, Gladys has a big fan base.....
-
Blessings2011, I must say, perfect description of Brooke, especially the Stepford Hostess comment!!!! I swear they could stick a lighted firecracker up her butt and she'd still have that fake smile plastered across her face! LOL
-
I just went on ABC.com and they don't have the full episodes on-line!! only the recap that they show at the end of the show to remind people of the phone numbers, you can't get a good feel for how they did with only 30 seconds of dancing
.
I will feel so left out over the next 3 weeks.
