PP just doesn't do it for me either sorry ladies wish I could get on ya'lls side but I guess it's his kind of music. Still like Hollie, Skylar and Colton for my top 3. Really wanna see a girl win this year!!
-
I'm a little bit behind. Not feeling Hollie. I think she was better in rehearsal. Not a fan of Deandre either. He just gets on my nerves how he swings that hair around!
I get Heejun. I like his humor. Glad he did well tonight. Skylar is a fireball. I like her! Colton and PP too. Big fans of theirs! -
Joshua, I thought he was going to bomb but boy did he pull it off, could feel the emotion pouring out of him. I don't think he will be this year's AI though. Thanks for the giant pick of Phillip, Sheila
-
LOL Karen...i don't know how to make the pictures small.
Agree...i like Joshua but he is not AI.
-
I think Elise swallowed a special pill....she can really sing.......
-
Really liked the girl trio singing they did a really good job!!!
-
LOVED Elise. What a good night tonight!!

Karen I think I could agree with your bottom 3.

Oooookay.....
American Idols and THEIR idols....
COLTON (Lifehouse) - Loved his quote "I didn't find the music - music found me at church..." Loved seeing his family cry in the audience, LOVED him feeling the spirit on stage and near tears himself!!!!
SKYLAR (Miranda Lambert) - Ya know, she's got the energy, the voice, the performance skills. But every song she sings is starting to sound the same. Is the question "Do you know who you are?" or "How versatile/talented are you?" She still has problems with her voice in the lower ranges.
HEEJUN/Donny Hathaway- Well, THAT was a pleasant surprise! A performance with a good song, good voice, and no BS! Who knew he was that good? I hope the "new attitude" lasts....
HOLLIE (Carrie Underwood) - Here's the problem I have with these young singers - it's like the only music stars they know are recent chart-toppers. There are SO many great, inspiring music legends to pick from, yet they are just clueless. During rehearsal, Stevie Nicks spoke of her Mom's recent death. She told Hollie that she "needed to hear your heart come out of you", and said Hollie needed to show emotion to the audience when she sang. So what did Hollie do? Think of the significance of the lyrics of "Jesus Take The Wheel"? Nooooo...she thought about how emotional it was talking with Stevie Nicks. Totally disconnected from the lyrics and the audience. And I couldn't understand half the words. Compare this to Colton's honest, heartfelt emotions even with the simplest lyrics.
DEANDRE (Eric Benet) - So, he got good directions from Jimmy and Stevie. But that falsetto - ew! But hey, what do I know? The judges were hot for him, andJLo announced that everyone should vote for Deandre!
JESSICA (Beyonce) - Again, her "idol"? Even though I'm not a big Jessica fan, I do have to admit I did like her rendition of this song.....and the harp made it impossible to be another screaming powerhouse song. Liked the ballad aspect of it.
PHILLIP (Johnny Lang) - Well, consistently good. Winner material? Who knows. Fun to watch, though....
JOSHUA (Maria Carey) (doing a Harry Nielsen song) - Adequate. Missed a few notes. Very emotional, but why the heck did he wipe his nose so obviously just before the last note? Ick.
ELISE (Led Zeppelin) - Hoooooweeeee! Rocker chick! Nice to see her do a duet
with Stevie Nicks in rehearsal. Glad to see a new side of her.TRIOS:Colton, Elise, and Phillip (Fleetwood Mac Medley) - Great combination of voices - each did a great job. Best trio of the night!
Deandre, Heejun, and Joshua (Michael Jackson Medley) - Um, boring .....dancing ....boring .....meh!!!
Hollie, Skylar, and Jessica (Madonna Medley) - It always makes me laugh to see young girls in really high heels stomp around and march like they are in boot camp. Learn how to walk in them, for heaven's sake! All of them did o.k, it was nice to hear Skylar sing something else for a change, but she was sure getting winded as she was walking around singing.
-
I haven't watched yet - sounds like some of the songs are emtional - don't know if I can handle that right now...
Sheila - LOVE the picture - I just think he is so adorable! His eyes also remind me of Paul Rudd...my DH thinks I am super weird for liking him as well...lol...

I'm here
-
Oh Thank God...i can't stand not to share my views with you.
-
PP
Elise
Right decisions were made
-
Right on PP and Elise, thought one of bottom 3 would be Jessica not Hollie , could be interesting night
-
If Jessica voted out. Judged will use whatever it's called to keep her.
-
Oh Sheila, I'm getting old, that was horrid Nikie who?. It's called a save, I was just thinking of who they would use it on. Where's mimi and seaside? Maybe running a little late.
-
Finally --- Heejun, almost thought it was Joshua and you're right they would have used the save for him.
-
LOL Karen.....Nickie something I saw her before but don't like her.....she has no class and shows it.
-
OK, I feel better, Scotty's got all his clothes on and is suitable for a "G" audience. He can also sing and already won a platinum record.
-
Sheila where did you go?, am I here by myself? Interesting bottom 3, I know who I'd like to see go. J Lo saved Deandree
