As my parents were leaving, my Mom said that today was the best Mother's Day she ever had. I had the "warm fuzzies" for days after that. I always try to make Mother's Day extra special for my Mother. My maternal Grandmother passed away 2 days before Mother's Day when I was in second grade, and the first day of her wake was Mother's Day, so it's always a bittersweet day for my Mom.
