Ok who is going to watch Survivor with me?

I am glad that Matt is gone. I still like Colton. I think the women going over to the men's camp was wrong. I believe that I would have held back. But I am a strong 50+ BC survivor and not a 20- or 30-something girl. I was happy to see the girls (not women) win for once!
-
BRILLIANT move on Coltons part!!! The guys were SURE he was going to present the idol so they didn't vote for him (except one idiot!!). I've never seen anyone ask to see the other votes before, that was a good point!
Girls are still trying to leech off the men....sigh. Have they even shared the canoe?? At least give the guys some of the fishing gear..come on!!
-
One thing is obvious with the two camp set up, the guys are obsessed by the women. I think having the women in a separate camp is driving the guys nuts.
What happens in a normal mixed camp? The men make the fire and the women tend it. The men have the fun of fishing and the women clean and cook the fish. To the extent the camp is cleaned up the women do it. While the guys lay around or go fishing.
With this set up when the women need something, the just ask the men for it and then say they are not authorized to negotiate anything in return. The men are too busy looking at the women to make a strong stand.
Now, along with fire from the men for the third time, the women have won fishing gear and a canoe so they have control of the protein supply. Did anyone notice how surprised/disappointed the men were when the found out the women were successful at fishing?
Perhaps this season is going to be more interesting than I first thought.
-
What was that???
-
Colton outsmarting himself? (crossing my fingers) Man, I really hate him now. What an obnoxious, toxic, bigoted little man. I hope the guys come to their senses and say, "What did we just let him talk us into?" and decide he needs to go.
-
I'll bet as they're all sitting at home watching this they wish they'd have voted Colton out, he is the worst kind of snake - the open kind, he's showing them exacty who is and they're all playing along. Have to say I loved Bills words at the end.
-
Me too, cheryl. Colton was just so rude to him.
-
This is without a doubt the dumbest group of men they have had on Survivor. The not only vote out two of the strongest guys, but they volunteer for Tribal Council. The women are no rocket scientists either. What was the problem with that simple log puzzel?
-
That was a good exit interview!
-
I thought Colton was playing the most brilliant game ever..but when he spoke, I just began to HATE him. He's like a Hitler!!!! I hope the guys see that sooner rather than later!!!!
And why did they put Kat on the first puzzle when she even admitted she was no good at them???!!!
-
Maybe they thought she could handle the first, easiest puzzle? They should have put her on unlocking the keys at the end. I don't understand why they continued to have problems after looking at the men's completed puzzle. Maybe they were intimidated by Tarzan yelling, "Cheaters! Cheaters!"? Which is still dumb. As soon as it became obvious that Jeff wasn't going to stop them, they should have walked over and got a good look at it. Kat and Alicia need to go.
And that's another thing - why was Alicia picking a fight right before they went to the challenge? Kat wasn't implying anything about Alicia; she was saying that she, Kat, sucked at puzzles, so she needed a strong puzzler to be her partner. Typical of Alicia to somehow make that all about her.
-
I think Colton is an incredible snob and a spoiled brat. I wonder if he is embarrassed as he watches himself on TV.
-
Just watched it (I'd recorded it). What??? That had to be the stupidest move ever. The only person who really disliked Bill was Colton, so getting rid of Bill isn't going to do anything to bring the tribe together. If Bill had been a divisive force, then it would have made sense to get rid of him.... although not until they lost a challenge and had to boot someone out. Choosing to get rid of somebody when you don't have to, in a game where the number of people left really counts? Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
Why are the rest of the guys so scared of Colton? Most don't even seem to like him. Once he hatched the idea of going to tribal council, there were enough of them who thought it was a dumb idea that they could have ganged up and blindsided Colton. That would have been a brilliant move!
Bill's exit was one of the classiest that I've seen.
-
notself, somehow I think Colton was patting himself on the back with all those "zingers" he got off this week. But he's a ginormous hypocrite. "I'm a Republican and I don't believe in handouts"? What the hell do you call that hidden immunity idol that was just handed to you? Not to mention, I don't think they'd be OK with you being gay, Colton. Just sayin'...
He announces proudly that he's not racist; there are black people in his world. Really? Good for Probst for getting him to admit it's only one - his parent's housekeeper. Who is paid to be around him. And he's a elitist, country-club trust baby who's never held a job in his life, so where does he get off telling Bill his job is a "joke" and that he should have a backup plan? What's Colton's backup plan? Man, I wished I could stick my hand through the screen and bitch-slap him into next week. I can't remember the last time I disliked someone on my TV so much, after him making that Helen Keller crack, calling Bill "ghetto trash", and calling Leif a "munchkin" and an "Oompa Loompa".
ETA: Why was Leif sleeping in a box?
-
Now we are back to the old Survivor with all the nasty human stuff. We see how there are people who will follow a leader no matter how dumb or incompetent just so they won't have to think. We are seeing politics in its raw state. This is much more interesting than Redemption Island.
-
riley - I was wondering about the box thing too!
-
Wow, just wow, this weeks episode was unbelievable!
I think this was the best episode ever, fans will be talking about it forever. This was exactly what the producers want, an episode that will go into television history and they have achieved it.
Colton will carry this with him all his life I hope he is happy with his decision to always be remembered as the bleep, bleep, bleep.
Bill on the other hand will profit nicely from this, we love underdogs and he is now the poster child, he is a struggling comedian, after this his name will be everywhere, everyone will be calling him to do their show, he has finally achieve name recognition. Think of all the material he now has for his future performances, think of all the job offers, he will not only make lemonade out of lemons he will make millions out of (cough, cough,) Colton.
The men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Have they never watched survivor? Give up immunity because they felt betrayed, really, seriously, this show is all about who gets blindsided and who does the blindsiding. They don't deserve to win, I hope the women walk all over them. The men's action is just more proof that men need women to survive.
Tarzan the "Plastic Surgeon" God help his patients, he is despicable, for his sake I hope he is retired otherwise his practice will take a big hit, reputation is everything.
Leif sleeping in a box????????????????????
Can't wait till next week.
-
Less bugs in the box perhaps. Might be warmer. Make a layer of sand or something and some leaves.
-
If Leif wants to use the box for sleeping then why put the lid all the way down. Why not get some trimmed branches and lift the lid so he can get some air circulation and more importantly hear whats going on when he is in there. That would make sense.
Has anyone noticed how dirty the guys are? Leif and a couple of other guys are actually drawing flies! Nasty
-
It wasn't night time when Lief was horsing around in the box. I think it was just a gag.
-
I wonder if he is testing to see how invisible he is to the guys of standard height? They are a pretty clueless bunch and he can pick up a lot of useful information by being invisible. To make it to the end he is going to have to use every trick in the book.
-
I tried to find the scene on CBS to watch it again but I couldn't find it.
-
Okay, now I think that Colton is just like Richard Hatch was - lazy, manipulative and seemingly beyond reproach. How come this last time they didn't vote him out?
I was SO hoping that a female alliance would stand strong. (silly me!)
And wow to what polar opposites Tarzan and Leif are. Leif seens simple (editing?) as does Tarzan but then Tarzan has (had at tribal anyway) such a way with words and Leif was making up words so who really knows for sure?
Quite the interesting season so far.
-
God, Alicia's an idiot. She just signed her own death warrant in exchange for being the last of the women in new Manono to get voted out. Yeah, that was a great deal you worked out, there! [/sarcasm]
ETA: Anybody else get a little excited at the thought of Colton being drowned? Kidding! Sorta.
-
Whoo-hoo! Karma's a bitch sometimes, isn't she, Colton? Telling Christina to jump in the fire and get medivacced out... And we got to see the little weasel cry (but not enough) and see him screw over his cohort in hate, Alicia. Yay, to Christina getting a break. And shut up, Tarzan!
-
riley - The episode is on in 10 minutes here and your post has my curiousity piqued!
-
Well said riley702
-
It won't affect anything, but watch how dumb Kat is in the last minutes of this ep. I can't tell you concerning what, but she's just like a dumb fluffy kitten or puppy. Cute, but you just shake your head at her lack of basic knowledge.
-
Kat is continually showing how stupid she is!!!! I cannot believe she has know idea about an appendix!!! She is old enough to VOTE for God's sake!!
My DH and I both think this was staged. Colton was getting very bigoted and probably told to leave!!
-
I'm really not enjoying this season much. Boring! Colton was really getting snarky. I liked him at first, but not so much as the season progressed.
