Turns out dat my DH is coming obber todey.  I hab not seen him since Monkeydey eve, me tink dat is de longest time dat I hasn't seen him since last April. My ex just got here - we are going to hang out back and perhaps hab a fire a widdle waiter in de ebbening. When wese are done crawaling, I can bwing my fire to de lounge and ebberybody can join me? Dat would be so freaking awesome if wese could get dat UFO to bwing all yeses to my house to partay with us. De more de maryier. I am tinking about a time in September when Chrissy B was here and we had de usual gang, being DH, ex DH, DD and mese and had de gweatest partay all together. Ya see, did here weather we are habbing makes me tink of de good old time we had way back when we was widdle.  

Mese berry hot and been habbing lots of hot fwashes lately. I am tinking about sumting I read about de effexir possibly making dem worse? Does annybody know who said dat? I dunno, I is so hot dat de sweat is trinking down mese foobs, ick.

Okey, enuff of dat, don't wanna chase you goils away with my sweaty foobs so mese jest put de fan on high and am chilling, litterally! hate dese hot fwashes and night sweats, dere has to be sumting to do to hailp.  Ooops, I am on a rant and will weally stop dis time and talk about likker.  mese went to de likker store and got a BIG bottle of JD, a bottle of pinot grigio, a bottle of rum and a six pack of JD Splash Coolers.  De party has officially started here. Katy O'dwinkadaadaa O'Mara - Oh, I just loved the links you posted bout the raised garden beds. I have been trying to get DH to do those here for going on 4 years. Normally he is really excited to do stuff like this, but with all the stuff we had goin on it's been hard to focus. Thanks for posting, though, I will try to get a garden this year! I got a question about seeds though, do you know where to get organic seeds that aren't genetically f'd up? Just read you are having Irish Coffee with Irish Whiskey and Crème de Menthe, sounds so good!

Gud Morgen girlz! Loved all the neat posts yesterday! And Bernie, love the "Wrath of Grapes"! Lori and Beansie, such cute pictures! OHHHHH dat pub crawl was sooooo mucho fun, Mema! Did you weally see us in da corner? Was so packed wid people, but wese saw you working your butt off!

OK Mema, the ultimate question....about the kilts. When I was around 18 or 20, a fellow was sitting next to me on a flight, and when I found out he was from Scotland, and DID play the bagpipes AND wore a kilt at times, I had to ask him that question...."So, could you tell me what is worn under your kilt?". To which he replied "I'm letting you know, there is nothing "worn" under my kilt....everything is in perfect working order!". Boy was my face red! I think he was just repeating an age-old joke, but at that age, I did get embarrased....but at least I DID ask! They must get asked that question a million gazillion times!!!

Yeah Beans, it was weird when the food coloring dyed ME green...I had really put too much in it though....LOL. The dinner was SO good that I ate waaaaaay too much and had a tummy ache and was bloated all night. And my dad bought a HUGE carrot cake that was amazingly yummy, but no way were we taking any of it home (except in our tummies, lol).

Karen, NOT fun doing taxes! You reminded me that I have to get all the pertinent files out for my DH, since I will be gone while he will be working on them,before taking them to the accountant. Bought the townhouse to rent out last year too, so lots of paperwork with all the upgrades, and also the gal left our condo ruined, and left with owing us rent, so gotta figure what to do there, too, tax-wise.

OK...this is WEIRD...but a tornado expert (read it in our newspaper, as well as on weather.com), ranked the top 10 states for tornadoes, w/ frequency, damage, loss of lives, etc., and I couldn't believe we were way down at #9, The order is:Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Illinois, Mississippi, Iowa, Oklahoma, So. Carolina, Alabama, and Louisiana. Was very surprised that FL had the top spot, but that is a list I do not want to be on top of! OK, thats my news tidbit.Ya know, wid dwunks, we can't wead berrry well when dwunk, so I am twying to insert some newz here and there. This still is a dwinking thread, so I gotta 'spalin when I deviate from da norm. LOL.

Will be fun taking my mom to "Motherhood the Musical"...supposed to be hilarious, and the venue is really nice...I got us wonderful seats. Poor DH after helping my dad all day yesterday (he had to nap from 3-5, after he got home!), he will be helping him plant today....replacing the weeping japanese maple the beaver got (was $50 for a 1' high tree!), and the stump and roots are still there from the mature one that got beaver-ized. But that is such a beautiful accent tree....they also have a "weeping cherry" that is quite large. Getting soooo close to being packed....are you pwoud of me, Lori??? Can't wait to see my DD on Thursday!!!!

Beans, hated to hear how bad your weather is! We have very sunny skies right now, been in the 80's and tomorrow is supposed to get to 87! Then a bit cooler after that. Let's hang at the HTL in the purrrrfect weather....ok?

Kathy, I ALWAYS take more than necessary or needed, when it comes to packing, ALWAYS. Same with shoes. Yes, I proud of you for packing early. I need to start, we will be leaving next Saturday for Vegas. Did you do red again on your hair? I'm sure it complimented your green mouth, teeth and tongue....LOL. Yes DorK, The Great Kazoo! Me tinks he was to Fred Flintstone, like Stell da Bella of da Ball is to you. The hot flashes and night sweats just suck the big wazoo. All I have to say, is they better freakin STOP when I'm done with the Arimidex. Altho Casino Girl told me that hers hung for another year or two (I forget which, but I think 2). Did you just get your hair trimmed, or a new style? I'm certain you look dorgeous.

Beans, had to laugh at "organic and genetically f'd up"....LOL. Wouldn't that make them NOT organic? Heirloom seeds are good too, and with both of those, you can use the seeds for growing next years crops. We may start selling seeds next year. Well, no precip here..........yet. Looks like most of it is diminishing by the time it reaches us. But it is VERY windy, they are even thinking there will be power outages because of it, and then of course they always shut the Interstate 40 down, due to visability.
