    Jennifer,

I am a 53-year-old male with Stage II invasive ductal carcinoma. I may be unique in that I don't really give a rat's a$$ about what people think and I've been really open about my diagnosis. I've even written about it for a couple of magazines and websites where I wrote about sports.

If your husband ever wants to talk, I am available to chat about the whole experience. Just send me a personal message and I will happily send you my contact information. There is NOTHING to be embarrassed about. Silence is deadly.

    Charles,

I'm sorry to have to meet you under these circumstances and I hope and pray for your good health.

I will bear in mind your offer if he ever feels the need to talk to someone. How kind of you to reach out to us like this!I

I can't pretend to know how hard it is to deal with your diagnosis: my husband has since come to terms with it and since his progression to Stage IV, is more open.

Best wishes for your health Smile
