Thanks so much for replying, Dogeyed.
I am due to see my plastic surgeon, breast surgeon, who did the mastectomy, AND my pain management doc all by the end of the month, and you've given me some good thoughts, and questions to ask. Good luck with your situation. May we all get answers!!

Hugs for all of us and to all we have lost. My mom from cancer, and my grandma and aunt.
Not feeling so rompy tonight, but here's another cutest ducky in the world, thought it would be appreciated, don't you just want to kiss it?
-
LOV-ESSA, sweeeeeet duckie!!! In fact, it just might be...could it be... FUZZY??? I mean, if it looks fuzzy, they eyes are fuzzerly, and quacks like a fuzzy wuzzy, it MUST BE Fuzzy. {{{{{FUZZY}}}}}
JEANIE, gosh I hope those docs can figure out WHAT is going on. I heard another woman talk about how their boob hurts right in the middle, just like you and me. Maybe it's a standard technique they use to sew up, I have heard of stitches getting infected, of all things. I'm just glad to hear you'll be seeing all those folks before the month is out, they gotta DO SOMETHING!!!
LAUREN, awwwww, I feel for you. I think it's good to tap into your cancer emotion, it takes a while to get it all out. I still get rude awakenings now and then, they just upset me for a few days, but I know it's all part of the deal, the ups and down. I'm just SO sick of it, tho!!!
-
ups and downs!!!!!!i think i was side ways yesterday!!!!I guess it was the full moon cause i see lots of sistas complaining(most who never do)
lets make it a betta day.hugggggggs everyone K
-
nobody commented on my colonoscopy quote.
((((WHOLE ROOM))))

Nancy...Yes I am.
Don't be afraid to post if a thread is sensitive than stay away from those.
Hugs
-
I am worried too.Does anyone know how to get in touch with her.Damn we really need a buddy system.....I do have one and i know some other sistas do.WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU FUZZY??????
-
granny....I taped a note on the wall with all the info where my computer is...to my daughters...that if I can no longer post for any reason they should post it for me .
-
I have a fewphone numbers on the wall just in case....and they are outlined in my phone book with a big hi lighter. And my kids know all about the sistas who i have the phone numbers of..
lets not jump here....just wish we had this buddy system.could save us a lot of heartache.maybe its time to pm one of your BBF on fb and exchange phone numbers and/or email addresses.
-
I like that idea. Its worrisome when someone is around every day then just stops posting. I'm going to leave the info for my DH. It's a bookmark so he shouldn't have any trouble with that. Or maybe...😉
Thanks for the support on the other thing. It's rare that I think about "that day" these days, with so much other crap on my mind. I guess it was something to make me forget about recovery for a few minutes...
Hoping everyone has a great weekend! -
Agree ladies.................Fuzzy never left this thread...........she was always here commenting, and making us laugh..................it just doesn't seem like her to "drop out of sight" all at one, without saying where she was going, or what she was going to be doing...............and we have no way of finding out anything else, cause we just have vague "info" about each other.............as close as we are..............we are far apart..........we need to do something about this...........
-
Perhaps we could each of us see that at least a couple of people who frequent most of the topics we do have a contact phone number for us, our home if there is someone there, a relative or friend who would know for those who live alone?
-
i think a buddy list could be fun and helpful.like pick someone who you like(im sure thats not hard to do) or someone who is kinda new and send them a pm.sistas helpin sistas.Im sure there are some sistas on this thread that do not have anyones phone number or email address.this is so not right.a 1 on 1 basis...you might never use it but its good to have.
WE CARE!!!!!!!and we can have some fun with this too.what does everyone think?
-
She hasn't been on Facebook either. I'm guessing Fuzzy is just busy with work and her daughters. SHe'll come back to us soon.
-
Just sent Fuzzy a FB PM. Hopefully she will let me know she's good!
-
I dont think an address book is a good idea..posted on here.anyone can look and find the person.I think it needs to be more personel.Dont forget people come on these boards with scams, dont even have bc.etc.
I once was friends with a young girl from brooklyn.she was havin a tuf time.we became friend and then puff she was gone.i started a post lookin for her.she never came back.LETS HOPE FUZZY IS ON VACATION!!!!!thats what i mean.no one knows how to contact her.this has to change!!!!!!
-
Each of us should have a friend on BCO that we trust. Give that person your contact info.
-
Although I am not huge into FB, I use it because so many of my former BCO friends are on it. They no longer post here. I will let you know when I hear from Fuzzy.
-
I never could understand why so many sistas leave BCO and go to FB.
Can someone explain why?
I too am on fb but i would never leave here to go there..what am i missing?
-
granny.....some of sisters might feel more comfortable to stay away from the BCO.
For me...I feel comfy here......On FB i don't discuss any health issues or even post much
I joined because i wanted to stay in touch with some sisters that left BCO.......And love to look at new pictures that my DD's and friends post them.
-
I agree with Sheila. I like FB but do not discuss any cancer related issues there. My family, kids and friends are there....you know the people who think Im cured??? I love my BCO sistahs and would never leave.
If you want to meet up on FB, PM me.
-
OOOh I forgot to mention it.....Linda was the one who introduced me to FB......
The sisters on Thinking out Loud were so nice to me everytime they post a nice picture on FB...they posted one on TOL (before FB time)
Thanks Linda♥
-
Hey Ladies................not a FB fan either...........heard so many not good things about it, that I have hesitated to even go near it...........I know it is all the rage, but have heard and seen some pretty "not nice" things on there.........I was able to use my sons connection, but never joined myself............and using his is nuts..........so I have never gotten my own.
Actually I prefer here anyway......anyone who knows me well enough knows my Email Address, or my AOL name..........................but its good to stay connected with each other.......if someone figures something out, let me know.
-
I'm a big FB user, but more for posting pics and stuff so my distant family and friends can see. I think this is for a totally different forum and would prefer to keep all my BC stuff here. Idlove to be friends with any of you on FB, but for on BC type stuff.
I'm all for sharing contact info. I don't think I'll ever leave these boards here. I feel so connected to you ladies... -
I am on fb too.and i dont post bc on fb either.just friends and family pictures.its wonderful for keeping in touch.period.
I think the buddy system should work very well here.AND NO DUCKY I DO NOT HAVE ANY INFO ON YOU!!!!!1
I do have phone numbers, addresses and fb.friends here...
BUT
There are sistas that dont.We cannot watch everyone.I watch the sistas im close with but there are sistas on here that do not have even 1 phone number or email address.AND if something GOD FORBID happens we would never know about it....
I dont know how to go about this thing but i sure want all the basis covered.
And of course if you dont want to share info its up to you.
I need help with this thing...Ill be waiting!!!!

I frequent both BCO & FB. I have a lot of BC friends and family, my privacy settings are for friends & family only. I deleted most of my albums of holidays and flowers and places I have been with my DD like mountain climbing and visits they were getting old so I will post random pics in the future.
-
Just looking in. I like the beanbag chairs and lava lamps...and the padded walls...and the padded floor..oh and the padded ping pong table..how cool..I must be in the right place.
-
No one has posted here in 16 hours??? What's goin on here???
Emily - welcome! Anything goes here, so join in!
I have my second round of PT tomorrow. Hoping she doesn't work me too hard...
Night night ladies... -
Good Night Lauren. Sorry I didn't post today, I was out all day looking for Fuzzy!
