Possible Endometrial Cancer?!
I just had a biopsy done to check to see if I have endometrial cancer. I waas having some abnormal bleeding that lasted for about 12 days. When it finally lightened up I phoned my gyns. office and they got me in that same day. She said it could be hormones or pre-meno stuff, but also needed to take a biopsy of the uteras to check. Now I am feeling nervous and shaky all over again. It's not so much about me. Just don't want to put my family through this again.
Please pray for NO cancer. I can deal with whatever comes my way, but gosh, not again!
Thanks so much,
Lexi

I am so so rry Lexi...Hang in there! Prayers for you:)

Praying for you. Hope it turns out nothing. So sorry you are going through this. When will you hear the results?

So sorry you are having to deal with this. Prayers that it will be nothing.

Sending prayers your way. As someone who has had four endometrial biopsy's -- all fine -- for "abnormal" bleeding, I know the fear of waiting. I'm betting premenopause. Prayers and hugs for you!

Oh, thank you so much! I do appreciate your prayers and well wishes so very much.
I should hopefully hear something on Monday. The waiting is terrible! I am having aches in my back now(which I kinda always have, thanks breast cancer), but now I am noticing it more.
Rachel, thank you for the encouragement. I am sorry that you have had to go through many biopsies, but thankful they have been benign.
I'll definitley let you girls know when I hear results.

Lexi, for sure you will be in my prayers. If it makes you feel any better, my sister just went through a very similar scenario. She is perimenopausal and had irregular bleeding as well. They did a uterine biopsy and it came back all clear. I think the irregular stuff is pretty normal just before you hit menopause. I know I was getting to that stage when I was dx w/the bc and I never had another period after that. I think the stress and shock of it all did me in. Can't say I miss it much!
Keep us posted!
Love,

Lexi- Thinking of you and hoping it is nothing. I understand the worry and stress with waiting. I'm sorry you are going through this.
-
Oh Lexi, I hope it's only a scare and nothing more. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Checking in to say I received the good news today that my biopsy came back clear! Yippee thank you Lord! I had to e-mail my gyn this am because I hadn't heard anything. They just don't get it unless they have been diagnosed with cancer. Geesh!
Thank you again for the prayers and well wishes. They do my heart good!

Lexi, I just saw this thread and wanted to say, THANK GOODNESS! Before BC I always told myself, my body isn't mechanical...it functions as a natural organism with it's own rythyms that are affected by many things, even the moon. As long as something was a single occurance and/or didn't last more than two weeks, I didn't worry. That advice is harder to follow now, but I still try.
I'm glad it seems to be just one of those natural things.

Wow, I just breathed a huge sigh of relief as I'm sure you did Lexi! What great news. Thanks for letting us know!
