¶ A Psalm of David. 103 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 ¶ The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 ¶ The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

Eve, I will always be holding you in the light. It was wonderful getting to know you!
Catbil: The Catholic Church let go of the whole Limbo thing back in the 80's! I don't remember why but my sisters priest told me this at my nieces baptism way back when.
-
you will be missed, evebarry: and we'll be here, at least some of us, when/if you decide to visit.........3jays

Good to see you kcl and 3jays. I rarely get on the computer in the evening anymore that is why I check in in the morning. I am on the computer all day as well and you really don't feel like doing a lot of reading at night.
3jays, at least your doctor is continuing to search out your options.

Scary daytoday, but certainly one full of praise! Gorgeous beautiful day, so DD, our dog (who helped me break my shoulder back in '10) and a friend, went hiking. On their way home, DD got to going a bit too fast on the gravel roadway, felt it getting away from her, BRAKED & since it was a small pick-up, with no weight in the back, lost control, FLIPPED, landed upside down in a ditch (not going over the cliff on the other side of the road). Everyone is OK, even the dog (although she's stovin' up as night wears on) Cop said being seat-belted saved their lives. I had been at a very nice soup/salad bar lunch with a good friend & was on my way to sit with my dad (Alzheimers) so my step-mom could have a break, when DD called. When I got there & saw the truck, I almost lost lunch! Honestly, there should have been hospital time! I told her God was definitely riding in the cab with them!
You ladies know our God is an awesome God, but today was a living, breathing, miracle!!!!
-
Eph 3-12: soo glad everyone is ok!!God was cerainly watching over them!!!3jays
-
Thank God, Joni!!!!!
-
((((Joni)))) Praise HIM!
I remember a night a couple years ago when DS called and told us that our pu was in the middle of the nearby highway on it's roof. A hit and run driver in a SUV t-boned them just behind to cab and...with no wieght in the bed, they flipped. When we arrived at the scene the truck was upside down and the passenger seatbelt (where FDIL) had been was still buckled. How she climbed out of the belt while upsidedown, I have no idea. The truck was totaled but the "kids" only suffered bruises fromthe belts. Our God IS THE AWESOME GOD!
-
And...Our God is miraculous that He can bring us parents through all of it. We can fall into His arms after the moment is under control.
-
3jays glad you are hanging in there, I love your attitude you are an inspiration! Joni thank the Lord your beautiful DD is okay, that is definitely a heart stopping moment! Barbe I will be praying for you tomorrow for your surgery. Mum ~ still praying for you! I hope everyone has a good week. Barbe let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it. Joni, how are the kids now, a couple of days later? Shock? Any pain?
-
Barbe, you are in my prayers. May you be at peace as He guides your doctors.
-
Thanks for asking Barbe-everyone seems fine. dog is pretty stiff, but other than a bruise or 2 DD & friend seem none worse for wear. it is miraculous!
-
I did amazing!!! Got home in 24 hours I was doing so good. I am SO paranoid about catching MRSA or something that I was thrilled to get out. Remember, I had caught the flu while in just for my pre-op!! 3 tumours removed and pathology will be on the 17th. No more thyroid, but now on Thyroxine. Thanks for the prayers, I KNOW they worked!
-
Praise the Lord! So glad to see you up and posting already!
