VOICE premieres after the super bowl. If anybody interested i will bring up last years thread?
-
sheila I watched the voice last year when I could remember lol!! I loved Blake Shelton and this year Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson are suppose to be mentors so that makes me very excited!!
-
OMG Renee...Husband & wife and Kelly
......I will watch it just to see them.♥
-
I had watched it occasionally and I too loved Blake Shelton, he seemed so kind and a regular guy. I definitely will watch it as i love Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson. They really did seem to get quality talent and I love Simon Cowell, I don't know why. He can be brutally honest but more often than not is right on target. Karen

East Coasters....
Just about 1 3/4 hours to go.....
Tonight auditions are in Portland....
"American Idol 2012 returns tonight for the final week of auditions. Tonight’s installment takes us to Portland, Oregon. Here’s to hoping tonight’s episode is a little more entertaining than some of the others has been. Edited to add.... Not sure why this says this is the final week of auditions! The schedule shows Feb 8 as being the last one..... Hmmmmm
Ryan Seacrest calls the Portland auditions ”an inspirational evening you won’t want to miss” in the promo (posted after the jump). And by that he means plenty of sob stories! Of course he also calls it ”A shocking night of auditions in the City of Roses.” So I guess we can be prepared to be shocked and sad. We’ll see." -
Karen,
Love Miranda, Kelly and, yes... Even Simon. He strikes me as having a big heart and, if there's no way you are going to make it, he can't see you wasting your time... Even though sometimes he is brutally honest, I think it is far kinder than the people who must have told the awful ones that they were good before they televise things... And then they get to hear it in front of all of America... that has to be sooo embarrassing!
In the Pic that I posted from the Portland auditions, doesn't the girl on the right bare a bit of a resemblence to Sweet?
-
Seaside, she sure does look amazingly like Sweet, I wonder if she ever checks in on us to know how much she is missed. So glad you posted, I was thinking we were going to go to the Wed., Thurs. schedule. Will have to get the family gathered. Karen
-
It's 7:59....Do you know where your remote is
-
Here we go!!!!
-
Aaaaaaaaaand SHOWTIME!!!!
-
So far...
-
Wish there was a like button on here Sheila so I didn't have to type I agree with you... what the heck was that guy Ben??
-
Case in point... This poor kid... Someone said he was good along the way... I feel bad when people don't do well but, especially when they are just kids..... I think it must be very damaging to their self esteem....
-
i'm little behind just listened the stupid bubbly girl DISLIKE
-
Oh Noooo... As I said in one of the past episodes... There are some artists that are just so distinctive that, if you choose to perform one of their songs, you better just nail it or you're done! Last time it was a Whitney Houston song and the contestant did well... Tonight, Queen and.... ummm... no.
-
Wow, I feel like they tell us the number that made it through but we don't get to see them. Those they sent through tonight who we did see, certainly did not give me goosebumps. Karen
-
The worse night of AI history
-
Ditto - wasted hour.
-
I have AI spoiler about top 24.
Anyone interested..I will PM it to you.
-
Lol Sheila! That visual sums up tonight perfectly....
I'm really hoping that, once we get to the Hollywood weeks, that we are going to see some of the people who were picked to go that were not showcased during the audition shows (the 50 or so from each location that we DIDN'T see) and they are just fabulous...
So far... There's been a couple that could be contenders but, no one stand out that blew me away.... Or would make me sign the adoption papers...lol! -
Sheila.... Yes, please
-
hahahahahahaah Seaside......We still have plenty of time for adoption...i think i adopted someone....but can't remember who?
-
LOL Sheila on forgetting who you adopted! I forgot mine as well
-
Sheila and Mimi.... I think it was Phillip Phillips....
-
YES Seaside.....I think he is safe to adopt
-
-
-
Oh Good Grief... Edited to fix the fact that my IPAD is not the best device to use to post here and stuck my comment in the middle of the quote I was posting...
Looks a change in schedule.... Tonight is the last audition night....
Just saw this.....
"The folks at Fox kind of sneaked a little change in on us. Tonight’s American Idol 2012 auditions episode in St. Louis is the final of the season and we’ve all realized that, but it you check back to the original Idol 2012 schedule you’ll see that wasn’t supposed to be the case originally.
Originally, there was one more audition episode scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8. It would have apparently featured auditions from Rutherford, NJ, which were stopped after the producers’ round, according to multiple sources. Who wants to put money on the reason being because of a diva judge move?
At any rate, I couldn’t be happier. I’m ready for Hollywood Week. As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, this year’s American Idol auditions epsisodes just haven’t been cutting it.
Of course that leaves us with the question on whether or not this change will effect the start of the live episodes. It seems somewhere along the way we’ll get an extra day from Hollywood or Vegas … or some dreaded clip-type show. We’ll keep you posted." -
Some nice stories last night, but no wowsers!!!
I CAN imagine some of these contestants and their future melt-downs in Hollywood.....THAT should be interesting....
-
East Coast Gals it's showtime!!! Sheila, where are you??
