bone scan

I am freaking out!! I have a bone scan tomorrow or monday just waiting for the call. I have been having a lot of shoulder pain and  the x rays didnt show anything..  I am scaed. i was just done with Chemo in Oct.. could it really be back already? I cant do this again.

    Tanya- I developed a frozen shoulder shortly after chemo- partly due to an infected port removal, but my physical therapist said she learned that women who have had chemo are susceptible to frozen shoulder because the sudden decrease in hormones. What does the pain feel like? If the scan does not show anything, I would visit with an orthopedic doctor. A frozen shoulder really sucks, but I would rather have that than the alternative!! I am hoping your scan is clean and that your shoulder pain is minor and temporary!!

    Hey Ladies.... I wanted to give you an update. First and foremost thank you all so much for your support and well wishes. It really helped me get through all of this and helped me stay strong.   I had my Scan done on Monday and I got the call today. It was a very long two days. I hope I never have to go through that again, but my scan did come back CLEAN!!  I was the best birthday present I could have received. Again thank you all so much for being my support when I needed it the most. You all rock!
