SEASIDE THIS IS THE LINK OF HER AUDITION.
Hi Karen
-
Hi Sheila, how do you know how to do all these links, you are very good on the computer. I can do this kind of posting, emails and research and that's it - so glad you are on this thread.
-
Ok... So I found Shelby Tweten's audition on utube... My these people move quick...lol....
Very nice performance... Love that song but, I must admit, I am reduced to a weepy mess whenever it plays on the radio.... Regardless.... she done good!
Hi to you as well, Karen!! Have to get my no interruption rule (unless you are on fire) back into effect...lol -
Oh Karen...i'm not good on the computer at all. i know certain things that i like to do.......like the links and etc........but i don't even know how upload a real picture here.
Thank you...If you need any links or missed something let me know i try to bring the link here
-
Thanks Sheila!! That's exactly where I found it.... They must be getting just slayed with people trying to watch because the video kept feezing so I had to keep backing up and letting it load....
-
Loved Shelby as well she was awesome!! still thinking this is going to be a hard year the talent is looking very competitive!!
-
Hi everybody, I am watching too, I love American Idol, really don't miss Simon at all( even tho I do like him) I think the show needed new people last season and I love Jennifer and Steven. I am behind only one but I will catch up by this weekend. Thank God for DVR"S
Nancy
-
Welcome nwest125, nice to have you here, we are a small group so far but glady welcome all comers. I've been watching since Season 1, how about you?
-
7:59 pm.
-
Sheila,
I'm here!! My son is up in his room... After last night, I may have to bolt the door so he can't get out....lol!
East Coast girls.... Here we go! -
Well now.... I must say, I agree with Jennifer Lopez in that I am just not seeing what the heck the other 2 judges are seeing tonight.....
-
Tonight isn't a good night.
-
There's still a couple minutes left... Hoping Texas saved the best for last.... Otherwise, no one stood out in my mind, at least in any good way....
-
the last one voice yes..... but not the whole package.
just voice itself is not enough for this judge here
-
There were a couple that I thought were Ok tonight but, no one blew me away... In fact, most were barely tolerable but, yet... at the end they said 54 (or 50 something) people made it through... where the heck were those people tonight? Overall, Texas was a big phhhhhhhtttttttt for me...lol
-
i wonder when is the group night...i meant when they choose which group made it.
-
Sheila,
Yep... same opinion on the last performance.... His voice was nice and his back story made me cry but just don't think he would make it as an American Idol... -
Sheila,
Funny you should ask as I was just checking the schedule... Great minds and all that...lol

Was not impressed with anyone specific, the last one did have acompelling story but did not think his voice was strong. Wonder like you do Seaside where were the 50 they sent through. On to next week. Karen
-
Thanks Seaside....With your permission can I copy and put the schedule on the topper?
Hi Karen
Hi nwest......i know you are 2 hours behind East Coast. So what do you think so far?
-
Sheila,
Absolutely.... Although I can't take credit for it.... I copied it from a google of the AI schedule but I think it could be helpful for those that don't want tonwatch until a certain point in the competition..... -
Well you provided the information and you get the credit
-
Awwww shucks, Sheila... You've gone and made me blush....lol....
Can't believe the next episode is going to bring us into February... Where DOES the time go?!? Here's to a more successful audition episode next Wednesday! -
Good Night
-
sheila, still getting caught up hopefully this weekend , there is a lot of good talent i don't have any favs yet.
Nancy
-
I have to be careful to not read this thread too soon....we're a few hours behind y'all here in Cali!
But I agree with everyone so far....Houston/Galveston was....meh! Kind of a snoozer.
I hope the single mom who spent her divorce attorney money on a plane ticket to the AI auditions finds a way - even if she doesn't win - to find a way to support her family through her music.
-
I'm a little late posting about the Texas show but I agree, the last one had a great voice but he wasn't the whole package... could he get a record deal in Nashville if someone heard him sing, Yes, I think so! He is very good.
Seaside thanks for the schedule it will definintely help keep up with knowing what;s next.
Blessings I agree with you about the single mom. I hate to hear sad stories. I want everyone to do well. It makes me think of the girl from Tennessee also, the one that she and her husband are living in a tent in the woods because they can't afford a hotel or apt. It really makes me sad and it makes me thankful for what little I do have.
Take care and I hope to see you all on Weds.
-
Hi all, Katherine McPhee is in a production called Smash, singing, acting and dancing on the Monday after the Super Bowl at 10:00, I believe on abc. Looks like it might be good. Just saw the commercial on TV.
-
This is totally not related to American Idol but I was wondering if any of you watch X-factor and had heard that Simon Cowell fired Paula Abdul, one of the other female judges and the male host of the show? Next season there will be some new people. The hopes is to get the ratings up. I was shocked! O.k. just passing along info.
-
Renee....i watched X Factor....The host was so irritating actually giving orders around to cut things short....I'm glad he won't be in the show.........i didn't hear about the women judges........OK time for some detective work.
thanks for sharing.
this is also not related to AI but anybody gonna watch the Voice
