had a period
I had a period 3 weeks ago, first one in 4 years!! Didn't realize until the other day that I could have cancer in my uterus. My gyncologist did a transvaginal ultrasound Friday and said there is slight thickening of my uterus and one area that didn't look quite right. Having a D&C in a few days was wondering if anyone has faced this and if you had any symptoms other than a period?

What age are you and are you on Tamoxifen?

I am 49 and took tamoxifen for 3 years in July 2011 my onc took me off tamoxifen and put me on arimidex.

Went ot my gynocolgist today for my pre-op apt. He said he doesn't think I have cancer, he thinks it is polyps in my uteris. I sure hope he is right, my D&C and Hysterscope is next Friday the 10th. Forgot to ask how long it will take to get the path report, does anyone know? Still concerned of course but God has been so good to me, I know He won't fail me now!!
