Please help me with staging of my mothers breast cancer..:(

 some important details of my mothers breast cancer.

age - 48

Grade - 2

Size of the tumor - Exactly 5 cm

lymph node status is - 3 of 12

ER  and PR  - Negative

Her2 neu - Positive

I am her son want to know  exactly at what stage her cancer is in :(

 By my assumption  It is T2 N1 M0

T2 becasue tumor size is in 5 cm not greater than 5 cm.

So according to me it is in stage 2B.

Please help me :(

    Yes, I think that is right. I assume she will be having surgery and chemo and herceptin.



    There is an enormous amount of information on this site to help you and your mother.



    As her tumour is ER/PR - and HER2 + you may want to post questions in that forum where there are ladies with the same diagnosis. There is also a forum for family, friends and care givers such as you.
