Badges are all made up and put into clip on holders. Picture is on FB to show you what they look like.
-
Wow Deb, you're good. Is the reservation under a particular name?
-
I will call them Saturday and tell them to expect 10 wild and crazy ladies are coming to eat there at 1:00 on Sunday. LOL
I don't think they take reservations but I will call them
-
Deb - I think they take reservations for parties more than 6.
-
Good, I will call tomorrow and make the reservations.
-
The reservations will be under Debbie Ryer.
Just got back from my follow up onco appt. Bone Density is normal, blood work is stable. Nothing exciting. She did her usual breast exam by pushing down so hard I feel she is trying to feel my rib cage, LOL. She is thorough.
-
Deb, glad to hear your follow up went well. I hope everyone has a great time on Sunday. Wish I could be there but we are having my son's birthday party. I had a an onc appoint a few weeks ago and said I think she is pushing her fingers down between my ribs. I am glad she is thorough too.
-
Your son's birthday party is more important. I will take pictures and somehow have someone post them for me because I don't know how. I am on FB, are you?
-
Reservations have been made for 1:00pm at the Glenview for 12/4/2011.
-
Hi ladies- so sorry to do this on such short notice but I have been hit with the mother of all flus- fever, cough, sore throat, the works. I don't think I will be making a miraculous recovery before tomorrow. I am so bummed! Please fill me in on all the fun. I won't miss the next one, that is for sure!
I hope you all have a GREAT time!

see you all in 30 mins.

We all had a wonder time and nice dinner at the Glenview. Maybe Michelle can grab the picture from FB and post it here.

Here we are (L to R) - LuLu, JoyceK, LuvRVing, Morgan513, Hauntie, and Deborye. It was such a nice group and as fate would have it, our server Mark's mother had died of breast cancer at the age of 44, leaving behind three young sons. He had her picture tattooed on his chest.
Deb - thanks for making sure this happened, making the reservations and name tags! You thought of everything!
-
Thanks for the compliments but that is what I do at work when we have some kind of a company function. I basically organize everything at work.
I should of had him take another pic, my mouth is crooked. LOL.
-
I had an excellentt time today! Deb, thank you for organizing us! We should get together again soon! The picture is great! I missed meeting the waiter and had no idea that his mother had died of BC. Isn't it interesting how fate brings people together?

I know,
he had a picture of her tattood on his chest. He had a lot of tattoos.
I enjoy getting out and meeting the people I chat with on this website.
-
Deb,.
The photo is great. I remember you from the first lunch last year in Sept in Gloucester. Love that the waiter had a tatoo of his mother. Very touching. Yes I am on FB.
-
Yes, here is a picture of that dinner. My Lobster Roll was out of this world.

I think a great time was had by all today. Thanks Deb for setting it up. And - I got such a deal on a Christmas tree on the way home. I had seen a sign near the Drum Hill shopping center - "Christmas Trees $15.00 and up", so I went back after lunch. I got a beautiful, very fresh, balsam fir for $15.00. My rule of thumb, on buying a Christmas tree, is that it must fit in my trunk and this fit perfectly. It's about 4 1/2 ft tall, which is just the right size for me to handle on my own.

He was the best.
-
Deb - so sorry to hear about your RO...
I just wanted to say how nice it is to see a pic of you all out enjoying eachother's company "in person" ;-) ...maybe the next time this Rhode Islander will be able to make it! So glad you had a great day!
-
Deb - that is so sad!
-
Deb - so sorry to hear about your RO. ALS is such a terrible disease. As Joyce said "its one hell of a way to have to leave this earth." May he rest in peace.
-
Hi beautiful ladies,
I am sorry I missed out on the get together, I am so bummed:-( I took some time off after i finished my radiation on nov 14th. I was physically, emotionally and mentally exhausted, so i took a break from work, internet, bc, etc:-( I hope we can plan on another get together soon.
