Why people are so angry there is no respect & tolerance towards any religion.
You are not suppose to say that do that what happened to this country ?.
My neighbor is Jewish and i wish her Happy Hanukkah and yes Merry Christmas and using the GOD's name since when it became a crime.
God is in every religion. OK I better calm down.
I hope one day humanity start understanding we are all the same but have different believes.
HUGS to ALL who are reading this.
AND PEACE TO THE WORLD
-
AMEN....well put my sista...GOD IS GOD....believe.....
Will we ever have peace in the world after 9/11????i sure hope so....
and yes God bless all of my sistas.hugggggggs K

One thing about recovering from bc surgery...you don't listen to the news much, so I missed all the terrible stuff. My DS asked me if I watched the debates and I told him I had much more important things to do than listen to those idiots taking swipes at each other. I'll wait till we get down to the final two!
Hope everything calms down in your neighborhood granny..what a terrible tragedy that was.
Went and had my hair done today so I will look presentable for the upcoming Xmas gatherings...one at my boyfriend's DS's house and one at my DD's house. We're going to church on Xmas eve with my other DS.
Doctors app't tomorrow with naturopathic doctor to see what he can offer me in the way of complementary medicine. Should be interesting.
Have a good evening everyone.
-
Ducky...Thinking of you as I'm watching ELR Italy episode where Raymond is trying to take a bath and his aunt is helping him hahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa
Kaara.....You'll be busy next few days.....you have a nice evening too.
-
Sheila.........told you the story of my trip to Longwood Gardens on another thread.....I think it is THINKING OUT LOUD"..................................
I think I have been banned from any; further trips with my kids........................especially my youngest daughter............she is the one I go with the most, and she told me tonight in no uncertain terms......................"MOM YOUR GOING TO F---ING KILL ME"
Granny if you want to read my adventure at Longwood Gardens, go to Thinking Out Loud............
I text my daughter when I got home to tell her my grandaughter's (her daughter) charm came for her Pandora bracelet that I bought for her birthday.....this is a xmas present, and she never text me back...................I think she has had it with me..................and tomorrow she has to deal with me at my grandaughter's (her daughter), xmas pageant...........................hahahahahahah
Paybacks are a bitch .....................the 6 drove me nuts, now its payback time.........hahahahahaha
-
Sheila The pictures you post are just so beautiful.
Ducky: Haven't you finished that bottle of vodka yet? We are just going to have to get together
Kaara You mention going to a naturopath. I would like to do that also. There aren't any in my area so I have to look to "out of town" for someone. I would like to hear from you what his or her advice is, as your diagnosis is very similar to mine. By the way how far are you from Orlando, Florida. My grandson works at the Swan & Dolphin in Orlando.
Well good night ladies, sleep tight and don't let the "well you know the rest"
-
Rosieo....thank you for liking my googled pictures.
I love doing it.
Good Night
-
Rosieo: My naturopath or integrative physician is in the Ft. Lauderdale area. We are about three hours from Orlando. He is giving me supplements and IV infusions (Meyer's cocktail) to boost my immune system. I'm on a gluten free diet, which means no grain, pasta, white potatoes, white rice, sugar...basically if it's white, don't eat it. Lots of leafy greens and veggies and some protein...that's about it. I've lost weight around my middle (about 12 lbs) and feel much better with more energy. Cancer cannot thrive on this kind of diet...it needs sugar and almost any white food is converted into sugar in the body. Better to keep the body in an alkaline state which is obtained by eating more veggies.
sheila888: Your pictures are beautiful...wish I could do that!

Hi all..I will be 70 in February...does that count? I am in the quandry of playing a "waiting game"...mammo came back with a "change since last time"...will be going for another diagnostic mammo and ultra sound on 12/29 ....will be so glad to know something so I can begin to deal with it...the unknown is awful! I am going to deeal with it! Why is this suddenly in italics...oh well...story of my life...lol...! Glad for a forum like this...helps to vent!

Judy/Ocalagal: Welcome to the site and to this thread: Sorry you have to be here, but you will get comfort and support from a lot of special women...also good information that is useful in planning your treatment options if any are needed.
Wish you all the best on your tests....I just went through the entire process and came out on the other side ok. One thing about us 70 year olds...we are tough and can get through these challenges quite well!
Stay strong and positive....that's half the battle!
-
Judy//Ocalagal..................Welcome, welcome, welcome.....................honey you will fit right in with this bunch of "ok, was going to say "old broads", but they will probably get on the 1st plane out, even if they have to kick off another passanger", and get my sorry butt...................well let me say "welcome to the thread with experienced broads who have had a few trips around the block....
Waiting is the hardest part, and when all that is past you will see everything fall into prospective......as my dear friend Kaara said "we are a tough bunch", and regardless of what others say about "seniors", we can give them a run for their moneyl.
The best advice I can give you is............ask, ask, ask, questions about everything they say they are going to do, and don't do it till you completely understand "what their going to do"
I've been with these ladies since Feb, 2011, and I could have not made it without them........I have said this before...........family is everything, but when a lot of this is behind you, but your still dealing with the aftermath...................and everyone thinks your doing "great", and you want to cry and scream...."I'M NOT DOING AS GREAT AS YOU THINK I AM ", but they don't really want to hear it anymore.................................Come here, no matter what time of the day or night, someone, somewhere is on this site, and will let you, cry, vent, complain, and eve "swear", and will comfort you, just the same.................they are the rock I depend on..........................and also, they are so frigging funny sometimes when they start telling their stories, and life experiences, you will cry laughing at them..........................try to be as strong as you can, ..........for you.............no one else............soon you will know everything, and it will all come together ............good luck, and hugs..........................we have a saying here....................."we will be in your pocket thorough it all"............wear a shirt with a big pocket, cause we will all squeeze in it for you......................................
Ok, Rosieo...............now I'm going to go and finish the bottle of Vodka...............hahahahahahaha
-

-
Here we are at Christmas Eve, and almost at the end of another year..................I hope and pray for all of my wonderful angels
that we all have a very healthy New Year.......................you have been the love and support I needed throughout this whole ordeal......................no one knows better the "we" what it is like to be "us"........................love you all, Merry Christmas.
-

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYY..................................where are all my ladies...............................looking to see how us "been around the block broads" made it through Christmas................and I have to go on other threads to find you all............................................Come on gals...........................I wanna hear from you...............................going to my daughters for dinner again, but will be back, and expect to see a lot of information on here......................... hahahah.............have a great restful day..................
-
Hi Ducky! Survived the dinner at DD's...a great time was had by all! Her new boyfriend is just great and he fit into our wild and crazy family just fine! Everyone arrived on time and there was little or no drama! White elephant gift exchange was a huge success as always. Grands were just precious and loved all their presents. They kept jumping up into my lap, so my surgery side is a little bit sore today.
Now we're going to start preparing for that cruise that we taking on New Year's Eve to celebrate my clear margins and nodes! Can't wait to do just what I want, when I want for seven whole days! The caribbean is beautiful this time of year...balmy breezes, no hurricanes, good seas, and a beautiful new ship to go with it all! We've been to most of these islands, but there is always something new to see...or to shop for!
Have a great day after Christmas everyone. Time to return all those gifts....NOT!
-

I'm still here...went to Naples (Fl not Italy) today to have lunch with boyfriend's brother and family who are in town from Milwaukee. It was our only chance to see them since we are leaving on our cruise on Saturday.
App't with my BS tomorrow to check me after surgery. I better be ok, because I'm leaving no matter what! Still a little sore, but other than that I'm back to normal. I'll look into rads when I return.
Ducky: Sorry about Grayson...I'm praying for her.
Granny: Take care of that back. Happens to me when I lift the grandchildren too much. Have you been to a chiorpractor? They work wonders for me. I have to see one about my neck, but want to get this other stuff out of the way first. I might try some accupuncture on the cruise instead of a massage to see if it helps.
Have a pleasant evening!
-
Kaara--you really sound like you got it all together...goin on that cruise no matter what.i love it.my kinda girl.
my back is an ongoing thing.like since i was 28.ha.and i fell a million times.another ha.now im old and my friend ARTHUR settled in that back of mine!!!!! I have been to a chiro plus PT many many many times.i know it helps but like you right now i have bigger fish to fry.
I have to see my gastro dr.on jan 4th.in between i will have to go to my friends and give her a helping hand.she is coming home fro MSK probably tomorrow AND i do stretches and walk every day.i know the drill.Perhaps when the dust settles i might try acupunture.
I did call my wellness center and he sent me a natural cream that does work but not instantly....AND no i dont life ANYTHING HEAVY EVER.
WHERE IS DUCKY??????

-
Here Granny ................It is damn cold here in Pa. too...............the wind was horrible, which only makes things worse
My grandsons got back to Chicago safely, thank God........one was driving straight thru, which is a 13 hour drive, and it was just him and his dog...............I was worried sick, but he is home safe and sound......the other flew, but I still worry about that too.........damn I wish they would come back to Pa.
