Big sigh of relief. The Dr. at the imaging center found "nothing to be concerned about" in either the mamo or the ultra-sound. Monday I see my onc to discuss the next step. BMX or lumpectomy. I'm seriously considering asking for the BMX. Thank you all for your support.

Sorry Granny, I'm still here........................I wish the gals would write on this thread more often, but I'm not sure there are that many over 70's who have computers.................................I am very interested, and it was fun hearing from all the ladies...........................there are so many threads to go too, maybe this one wasn't a hit.
I will keep posting to try to keep the interest going, but I am as guilty as the next one..........I slowed down too..................But I'm back, and will put my best effort forward...................

Honestly Gran..................not sure if it is the time of the year..............but there is a lot of down, and depressed sisters on the threads...................including myself.............but who can blame them............................that shit about being "happy to be alive" is a lot easier said then done..................some still suffing from chemo, some problems with SE of the AI's, some still beat to hell from the Rads, whether they were years, months, or weeks ago.......It just stinks
-
ya gotta keep on keepin on.....im stayin busy pushing the new thread LETS DRAFT A LETTER TO WASHINGTON.....im helpin to push this thing to the max....on the puter all day goin on different threads tryin to make an impact...and...takin my mind off all this other crap that eeps on surfacing....im prayin that this thing works..its only gonna be a letter flooding congress on the same day.....just wish i would get some feedback.
damn i wish they would have a march goin to Washington.....as old as i am if there was a way for me to get there i swear i would go....making a statement like that would be awsome...i can wish right.see my mind is off everything but THIS...get the vodka and ill drink to this...let it happen...please....
-
Gee, it's too bad I am only "27" or I would love to join you ladies.
I was basically thrown off of the "Let's Draft A Letter to Washington" but I am still writing my own letters. I did several today. I don't need a group to get me to spout off at my senators or reps. But I do hope whatever they do works for whatever they want. Keep it going Grannydukes and I'll be thinking about you older gals and your awesome energy!

I'm still interested....just trying to get through my surgery tomorrow...had a busy week with pre op screening, xmas shopping, doing the gift bags, seeing all the kids and so on. I go to the hospital at 10:00 AM tomorrow morning and my surgery is at 1:30 PM. I'll be in overnight and home on Tuesday if all goes well...can't see why it wouldn't. Won't know final dx until path comes back in several days.
Friday was a bummer....did pre op screening last Monday and the idiots waited until 3:00 PM on Friday to call and tell me I didn't pass the cardio portion, so had to run to the clinic in W. Palm which was closest to where I was at the time and get re examined by a cardiologist. It was my slow heart beat which I've always had. It ruined my visit with my DGD! Cleveland Clinic is going to hear from me on this one.
Granny I don't know about the "Let's Draft A Letter To Washington" but as soon as I get home from the hospital, I'll look at it and see what I can do. Always up for good causes.
Take care everyone...see you soon!
