Well I had a MRI on Friday and called medical records for the results today. I was told the radiologist review the MRI, it is being typed, then goes back to the radiologist to proof read it to make sure is correct? Does that mean it is not a normal MRI? AHHHHHHHHH This is my 1 year MRI since I had a breast reduction on this breast and mastectomy on the other side.

 Any thoughts?

Sounds like typical medical bureaucracy. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi Lola, please don't read anything into this as it is standard practice for the Radiologist as he needs to sign the report.

That sounds like a general QA cycle to me, reports are often dictated and then transcribed.  The  author then proofs it to make sure nothing was misheard.

I don't think it has anything to do with results  of the MRI.

Time to take a deep breath, and not get ahead of yourself.  Waiting for test results can be nerve wracking.
