Wednesday Weigh In
Comments

I'm going to have to post my gain/loss tomorrow, because - and this is TRUE! - my scale's batteries died yesterday.
Purrs to all,
Jenn

Welcome Desny and Kimberly1961. Posting here will definitely help to motivate you to keep watch what goes pass your teeth and how much exercise/movement you get in so keep coming. There can be weeks when there is no change, or gain, but continue to work on it.
I was up, just a little, this week but it was expected as I haven't been exercising enough. Foot is better so after the holiday I should be able to get back on track.
-
The same....enjoy Thanksgiving food and the day after leftovers; and then get back on track....that is my plan!
Happy Thanksgiving!
-
Hi All,
Up a little. Hope not alot after tomorrow. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Onc office called to ask if I could come for my check up on Tues instead
of 12/18 - I said yes but now I am full of that anxiety I always get, ugh
-
Down .4 (yes there is a decimal point there!). Not bad for really not watching what I eat, but still taking my daily hour long walks.
Just want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all my American sisters.... Wishing you all a wonderful day!
-
Eek! 142.8 (That's UP 2.8!) I'm annoyed - I didn't have an appetite for the last 4 months, and the minute I decide to get on the straight & narrow - it finds me again!
My husband & I are going out to eat tonight, which is a HUGE treat, and I plan to eat like a gluttinous pig! Then - starting to eat healthy and see if it helps me to feel better.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving you magnificent women!

mpeaches, sometimes we have to do just that so hope you enjoyed. Hope to see everyone back here on Wednesday with encouraging words that they are back on track and then the Wednesday after that we will post our successes. Yes?
-
patoo - yes.
-
Down .4 of a pound (yes, decimal point again - but still down!)
I am determined to lose 5 pounds by Christmas .... Wish me luck!!
-
Up 1.3 pounds since two weeks ago. I'm actually happy with that after being on vacation last week where the food and drink flowed freely!
I was thinking it was going to be at least 2 pounds, so I will definitely take 1.3. On to a minus next week!
-
Up 3 (no decimal point) but I have been so bad, first with the weekend, and then with the leftovers. I don't think I have anything exciting left in my house...so I believe I can 'be good' again.Sigh!
-
Uh, oh, up 4 pounds from last week, but a lot of this could still be water. I was up 8 pounds yesterday. Crazy water retention.
-
142.8 - exactly the same as last week. So, could be a LOT worse!
Purrs,
Jenn

Alrighty, I just stepped off the blasted truth monster in my bathroom, and I'm pretty sure now I need to force myself to weigh in with y'all every week. Life without estrogen has... umm... changed things shockingly fast. I am twenty pounds over what I weighed right after my hyst/ooph this time last year (I started Femara right around then, too). My weight has GOT to stop climbing.
165 this morning.
145 this morning a year ago.
OUCH. Help help, I'm a bear in great tightness. (hat tip to Pooh)
-
Well, at least I haven't gained. That's about all I can say folks !
-
Up about 2 lbs and I own every ounce of it. Actually was pretty good on Thanksgiving then it was downhill after that but I gave us all 2 weeks to turn it around and so today is the first day of the rest of our lives so by next week we will post successes!
-
Welcome lulubee :-)
I lost 2 lbs this week. What?!?! That was a shocker, I wish I knew my secret ha! Actually, the last of our TG company left last night and my DH and I hit the wine (nice having our house back!) so it could be that I was a little dehydrated this morning ;-) BUT instead of trying to analyze it I think I will just enjoy this pleasant surprise. Til next week . . .
-
Hi lulubee, come over and check out the 'Lets Post Our Daily Exercise' thread if you want to.
-
Thanks, Ruth! That's a friendly push in the right direction, for sure. But first I gotta get my clothes off the elliptical. :-D
-
I stayed the same - again. I think the scale needs a new battery - its been the same for a long time. My dr. just put me on water pills. I have fingers again and my face has features, I almost forgot what I really look like. My face got round and was so bloated. But no weight loss, darn!
-
Since I totally LOVE our exercise thread, may I join here?
This time last year, weighed 175. Decided I had to get healthy. Joined WW, worked out like a maniac and lost 25. Found my lump, and boom- BC!!! Lost another 10 from stress and another 10 during chemo. As of this morning, after thanksgiving indulgence, I weigh 133. My goal is between 120-125. I am 5'2.
Working out particularly hard right now, so hope the scale is budging next week!
-
Hi misswim! Glad to see you here too.
-
Welcome misswim :-) Sounds like you're well on your way to your goal! I'm impressed with your weight loss, your first charge with WW and then during treatment! I remember when I was diagnosed, one of my first thoughts was, "well at least I'll lose some weight". I totally pictured myself coming out of this somewhat emaciated (I always suck in my cheeks when I say that :-) I wasn't prepared for gaining the "chemo20" but sure loved my steroids and eating was one of the few things I was still able to do with gusto! So here I am and thankful to have such a wonderful support group.
-
I am keeping it under 1700 cals/day this week, so far so good, and keeping up the exercise. I want to see 1 pound down next Weds!!!!
-
Go Omaz! Wish some of that will power would rub off on me. I still don't have my appetite under control. Hoping it's just part of the post holiday blahs and won't last too much longer!
-
quiche - It is such an effort for me to not eat as much as I want. I love to eat. I am earnestly keeping track in the fitday software and those things that I really enjoy like toasted bagel or ice cream with almonds just suck up nearly half a days calories. Sigh.
-
Hey, almonds are good for us! The ice cream is just fluff!
-
patoofunny!
-
Hi Ladies...............................didn't post anything after my 2 Wednesday weigh-ins, but have lost 4 more lbs on WW....................I was shocked considering we had Thanksgiving in there, and I wasn't as good as I could have been...................guess I didn't eat as much as I thought..............Will keep trying, and know if I would get my "duff" back to the gym I could do so much better...................maybe I will put that on my "to do" list this week............hugs.
-
Good morning - I checked a day early and I lost 2 pounds!!!! It is working for me to keep it below 1700 cals/day, I am so happy. I thought I had some weird post-treatment metabolism that I couldn't lose weight but I can if I am diligent and persistent and look away from the sweets!!!
