Good Morning Tammi Babes - It's pocket party time!!! Everyone read?? Tink - Do you have that extra set of wings for me? I am so ready - Let's go girls.

Got them Jo!!!! lets go!

Hi friends - quick question. I met a friend who had breast cancer years ago and she was triple negative. I asked her if she had changed her diet post dx and she said no, but she understands that not eating sugar is important with hormone positive cancers. I know there's supposedly a link with eating sugar to cancer but I didn't know that there was increased risk if it was a hormone positive cancer. Has anyone heard that?
-
Ok Shari we are in your pocket and there for you all day. We may not make sense as the alcohol is a little strong but very good.....On a serious note.....GOOD LUCK TODAY!!!
-
Sherry ~ GREAT news so happy !!! woo HOO
So sorry to hear about Jules. Thank you for letting us know June. Sending up prayers for her.
All is ok here, still clubbing along ~ feeling pretty good otherwise. KNOCK on wood.
Paula ~ praying the rest of your tests come back with good results as well.

Hugs !

bcisnofun - There are several studies that contradict each other regarding sugar and cancer ... but the bottom line is that sugar (glucose) is needed for all cells to grow - good cells and bad cells! Cancer cells are mutant fast growing cells so I figure (not being a scientist) that more sugar means more growth. Doesn't sound like sugar alone will not cause cancer. It can cause the cancer that is already there to grow... stupid cancer has taken SO MUCH from me, it will NOT take away a piece of chocolate!!
-
It's official ... I just got the call. I am postmenopausal (as I suspected) and now have to switch to Arimidex. I will still keep an eye on you gals ... you aren't getting rid of me that easily!
-
MamaV we love when people stick around.
-
Mamav.. yes please do stick around@!

Had my ultrasound today. The tech didnt say too much as I know they really cant all she said there was slight thickening and it would be up to my doctor to see if she wanted to pursue a biopsy so hopefully i will know soon
Shari thinking of you and hoping allw ent well and you are resting comfotably!

MamaV - Please do stick around. I am also postmenopausal - have been for about 4 years now and have to take Tamoxifen. The AIs and my tummy do not get along.
Tink - Thanks for loaning me the wings today. Was a pocket party that was. Thinking of you and hope everything is okay. Hope you don't have to wait until Monday to find out anything.
June - Sending hugs to you sweetie.
-
Jo hugging you back....miss you!

MamaV - I so agree with you on the sugar/chocolate. I have given up as much as I intend to but not my chocolate!!!! Please do stick around so we dont have to wonder what you're up to.

Tink hope everything is ok with the thickening. Jo is a terrible flyer with those wings, thought I was going to get motion sickness. Otherwise the party was great!

I will be off tomorrow for my Casting for Recovery. The schedule is pretty busy so I don't know if I'll have time to get on the boards or not.
