Let me say I like the way you ladies think!!!
-
You Guys are the best! Love the chocolate, and the happy juice, too. Surgery is 8pm my time (1pm Eastern standard time, in the US.) Its a long flight, 12 hours from NY so bring plenty of goodies! (thanks for the good wishes. Really feels nice to have you in my corner. Feeling calmer.)
Hugs and thanks, Shari -
Shari....MamaV is right we will all be there with you......as long as Tink can keep her wings under control as well as the alcohol..........
Odie16 like your way of thinking......ha ha I say who cares about the time, right? I say the earlier the better for me
-
Thank you ladies, you are the best and make me laugh.
welcome CML0310
Shari we will def be in your pockets on Thursday -
I'll volunteer to be the designated flyer, just...give...me...that...CHOCOLATE!!!
-
lol schipmom!!!! I will have plenty of snacks and drinks for the ride. Im so ready for a trip! Im so glad we can be there for each other! Bonus is we are going to see the world. Shari hold one to your hat cause I think its gonna get crazy, lol. Tink n drinks look out, lol. We may just have to have an early pillow fight just for you! June look out WHACK WHACK, hee hee hee!
-
I don't post here often, especially since I got switched to Arimidex off of Tamoxifen - but I DO keep up with everyone!
Sherri - SUCH good news!
Shari - Count me in on the pocket pals. I had my ooph/hysterectomy yesterday, and because I apparently have a very small vagina, we had to do it abdominally. Not a lot of fun so far in the recovery department - but I did think of something with chocolate & booze to bring - espresso martinis! I think that covers ANY time of day and ALL time zone changes!
-
Paula you sneaky little devil.....I think when you are too drunk to notice I am gonna get you....he he!
-
Shari- it is not crazy...perfectly normal to be nervous...who wants to go in for more stuff? no one..so we are coming for the ride.in your pockets!Make room:0
-
You gals make me giggle. Flying and martinis
-
Shari-okay make room for me, I'm up for some flying and drinking-as they say, "it's 5 o'clock somewhere".
mpeaches-glad to hear your surgery is over and I like the way you think concerning the drinks.
-
Is it possible to love my tami friends more than i already did? Yes. You are the greatest! And since we are 7 hours ahead here that means you can already be drinking by brunch there! Life is good. I am now in 'the day before' mode. You all probably recognize it. The waiting for any of these events just sucks so much that by the time its the day before, Im in a better mood, just cause it'll soon be OVER. Think i may have chocolate for bfast, lunch and dinner, just...because. Only catch is that dreaded presurgical weigh in. Love when the anaesthesiologist asks the weight question in front of DH. Then theres always the question of, do i lie about my weight and get underdosed on anaesthesia or have hubbie learn the horrible truth? Reminds me of a friend whose idiot OB asked her to report her weight each month when she was pregnant and each month she fibbed, subtracting about five lbs. at the ninth month visit they weighed her themselves and whadya know, she'd gained 40lbs that month! (funny.)
Mpeaches, thanks for the report. Good luck w your recovery. One word of advice. Dont overdo it even if you feel fine. Your body is still recovering internally. I had an abdominal hysterectomy in 2008 and over did it. Take the full time the dr recommends.
Lots of thanks for all of your support, will check in as soon as i can, Shari -
mpeaches, glad to hear your surgery is behind you. Rest up, and like Shari said, don't overdo it.
Shari, wishing you luck with your upcoming surgery. I'll be joining in on the pocket party, so make room!
-
Good mornin' my tammy ladies!! Sorry I haven't been on in a few........I sneak in on my fb a little, and my email and read here a bit, but been pretty quiet lately.... Just holding my breath for the rest of my tests..... The colonoscopy and the upper gi came out good......nothing there!!! yeah! Now tomorrow the CT scans......we shall see.......won't know anything until the 21st tho. wow what a long wait that will be!!
I am keeping you ALL in my thoughts and prayers.......know that please! I might be in and out, but I always think of all of you!!!!
HUGS

ok ladies oddly out of the blue my hot flashes started back up yesterday.. during the day which is very unusal. Also the mood swings have been in full force so strange.... going tomorrow for ultrasound but still think ots Tammys fault!.... I have not had much of a problem with the insomnia I just want to sleep all the time now I am always soooo tired!. the fatigue is almost as bad as the insomnia though...

Hey girls would love to pillow fight this weekend but I am going on Casting for Recovery.
It is a free weekend that they have all over the United States. They teach you how to fly fish and have talks about breast cancer topics. It is only for breast cancer patients any stage and anytime of your cancer. You just fill out the application and then they will let you know. I was originally picked as an alternate and then got bumped up because someone had to pull out. If you are interested in the program you can go to http://www.castingforrecovery.org/ it starts Friday afternoon and ends Sunday afternoon. I am so excited and will be a nice change of pace from everything that has been going on with my Dad being sick and passing and then me having to have surgery. My Dr cleared me so I am going. Woohoo
-
Sounds like fun Sherry. Have a blast girl, you deseve it!

Tink-have you had your thyroid checked recently. Alot of the same nasty Tammy SE mirror low thyroid effects, just a thought.
