It was good. A  toss-up btwn who was sent off. Not sure who is better/worse Edna or Mikayla? I'm still a Coach fan.....

Coach claimed he was clear to Mikayla in telling her to turn the challenge over to one of the guys, but the video didn't show him being clear.  He kept asking her if she was OK and, at least what I saw, he did not ask her to step aside.  But certainly she should have known she wasn't doing a good job and should have voluntarily stepped aside.

Well..........I think Ozzy may have jumped onto the coo coo train with Coach.  As for Cochran, why doesn't he stand up for himself in some way shape or form?

notself - But Coach didn't score, either, so why should she step aside on his say-so?

This week - wow, either the ballsiest move or the dumbest ever. Why did he give the HII to Cochran, of all people? Why not someone he trusts more? Because Cochran isn't giving that sucker up, no matter what he says now. And I want Cochran gone.

Coach, Coach, Coach. You lying to Brandon, making a big production of praying out loud all the time to keep Brandon under control... I just hope it all blows up in your face. Brandon is too easily swayed by anyone whispering in his ear; don't you think he's going to spill his guts at the merge to the first kindly face on the other tribe? Especially if he finds out you lied about the HII.

I'm not sure where Ozzy and Coach's minds were this week. That was sucktastic playing from both of them.

I think all the public praying that Coach does is an act.  In an interview with Jeff Probst he admitted he just pretended to meditate and never called himself the "Dragon Slayer" in real life.  He has been on 3 times and this is the first time he has publicly prayed.  He is such a poser, I find it hard to believe he is sincere.  He certainly isn't following Matthew 6:5-6

Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy not sure if the move was brilliant or dumber than dumb.    Christine is from the other tribe and mad as hell at them, during the merge she would have been more loyal to Ozzie tribe.  Ozzie is kidding himself if he thinks he can beat Christine, just because she is an older women, the challenges have not been strength based.

Something about that Cochran that I like,  I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzie returns to the game and Cochran refuses to give him back the idol.

Coach team is as nutty as Coach.

Grazie - Good point about Christine!  Interesting move though and his tribe went with it.

Coach has always done that fake Tai-Chi or whatever. It's just to get camera time as he does these stupid poses that aren't really anything. And now he's adding praying for the same reason - more camera time. And to fool Brandon into trusting him.

Another message board pointed out that Brandon had his hand in the air, totally buying Coach's "praying" during the challenge. Coach also grabbed one of the women before she even got her blindfold off and shoved her to her knees to praise Jesus when they won. That really turned me off, fake Christianity and repulsive behavior. I so hope it blows up in Coach's face.

The more I think about Ozzy's move, the more I think it was unnecessary and might backfire on him. Why are they worried about Christine, anyway? She's made it obvious that she's pissed at her tribe for voting her out; so why doesn't Ozzy's tribe court her to flip to them at the merge? What if the merge isn't next week and they have to go to the Immunity Challenge without Ozzy? What if Christine beats Ozzy and sends his ass home? Wouldn't that be embarrassing?

Riley - good question about the merge not being next week.  If it is not next week and Ozzy team loses, Cochran will use the idol and Ozzy will never get it back.

I really hate that phoney Christian thing, hope to see Coach team turn on him soon.

Just an FYI if any of you like to buy the older seasons - Amazon has Thailand available now and Amazon is coming to DVD soon too.  The show was a lot simpler back them - no immunity idol, exile island, redemption island.

*sigh* This is going to be boring the next few weeks. And I loathe Cochran and I think he's going to be dragged to final TC as a goat, and that pisses me off. Hope Ozzy does last at RI and will enjoy watching the now-smug Upolu devour themselves when all the Savaii are gone.

I totally agree with you Riley.....I can't stand Cochran!!  This show is going to get pretty boring without Ozzie.  If I have to look at Cochran much longer I will quit watching.  He is pathetic and should go home. It would be fun to watch Ozzie beat him on RI.  Let's hope the producer of Survivor can shack it up a little and make something unexpected happen.

Oy! And all the self-righteousness and whining! Savaii - of course Cochran knew you'd boot him as long as you no longer needed him for votes. Cochran - of course, Savaii is going to be upset by you flipping. Jim - calling Cochran a coward and then reneging on giving Ozzy your immunity necklace makes you... a coward and a hypocrite. Whitney, you yelled at Cochran and nearly spit in his face and then got teary at being called a bully? Ozzy to Cochran - "When did I ever make you feel weak?" Cochran: "Maybe when you called me weak and useless and tried three times in a row to get me voted out." Ozzy: *crickets* and an "Oh, shit" look on his face.

And how pathetic was Cochran eating up Upolu's attention, strutting around in Coach's jacket and Rick's hat? At best, you're a goat to be dragged to final tribal and at worst, you're gone as soon as the rest of Savaii is gone and they don't need you any more.

At this point, I'm rooting for Albert and Sophie.

Cochran is a dweeb but I enjoy watching him develop confidence.  Yes, he sucks up but he probably has been bullied all his life and that is how he got through his days.  If he can last a while longer, he will learn new coping skills.  This has got to be a real life changing experience for him and I find the process fascinating to watch.

I think Ozzy is a pretty boy bully who has always gotten his way because of his looks and physical skills.  I think he is in real trouble now.

I like Dawn, Rick, Albert and Sophie for the final four.

I think Cochran is funny in some of his interviews.  Tough bunch on redemption, Ozzy will have his work cut out for him.  Not a given that he can beat those two.  Nice fish that he caught!  I want to go snorkeling there.

Yes, he should. But it seems IMO to be very atypical behavior from someone who admits that he was a bully himself not so long again. I wonder if he would have been so protective if it had been a woman from Savaii who flipped.

What my DH and I find amazing is that these people get so mad when they're voted off or someone or several people do something behind their back.  This is a game for a million dollars.  It is, Outwit, outmatch, outplay.  And they are the  same ones that throw a temper tantrumm er the firt ones to do it themslves.  Oh well, we'll see what happens nextl

Wow. Whitney's not such a sweet thing after all.

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20544013,00.html

Despite portraying herself as single and announcing her engagement (to Donny Fallgatter) to family and friends before she left for Survivor, she had actually secretly married him in August of 2010. And that's not all. She's recently informed him that she's in a relationship with Keith from the show. She has apparently moved out and has been seen all over Nashville with her Survivor boyfriend.

Wow, again. I totally bought the sweet little aspiring Country singer until she went off on Cochran (who I really don't like either), but I'm gobsmacked by this revelation.

My daughter and I were thinking they should do a retro show, all new cast no oldies, no redemption, no immunity idol, no exile island, no clues, no food, no luxury items - Just survivors, beach, challenges and time.

I am surprised that no one was infected with parasites in those early shows from eating all the weird food and in the case of Africa, drinking blood.  Some of the early Survivor contestants lost a dangerous amount of weight.

I agree that Redemption Island takes away from the show.  I miss the interaction between the contestants that now missing to make time for Redemption contests.  The personal interaction was important.  Who could forget Amber and Boston Rob?  There isn't time to show the changes and development of individuals under the current format.  Too much clutter.

Oh and drinking blood was awful.  I remember that.  My favorite season was Australia.  Remember when the flood came and took their can of rice?
