Sherry, thrilled with your news! So happy for you.
-
Sherry, wonderful news! So relieved to hear it's B9.
-
Quick question...I've been having leg pain for the past 6 months or so. I've been on T for 13 months. Started eating bananas and pain seems better. Do you think T strips potassium from your system along with estrogen?
I have an MO appt the end of the month and I will ask him.
Thanks
Jan

Sherry - This calls for a happy dance.

Great news Sherry! I'll be taking my last Tamox tonight......going off to get ready for ooph later this month. I will be going on an AI after that.......sorry to say, but good riddance on the Tamox!

-
Paula why is it I can see you actually doing that sance??? hmmmmmm
-
yeah Sherry! Ive been on T for about 3. months. No issues to speak of other than it seems like my period each month has taken a bit longer to arrive. This month was the longest-about two weeks late. Im 41. Just curious what other peoples experience is. Having said that my dad passed away a few weeks ago and I had some man troubles so stress free my life has not been. I have my first MO follow up..the day after thanksgiving so I will ask him then but thought I would get input from here.
-
CNL0310- everyone's experience is different but varying the time you take it or split it in half to start with ..half in the am and half in the pm..some folsk took it with milk to ensure they did not get an upset stomach.I am now on Arimidex but I keep track of things on a calendar so I can pinpoint things if it is necessary.
-
Sherry! Great news! Nice how your news buoys all of us. 'All for one and one for all.' Woke up in the middle of the night to see if you posted, Sherry. Your news made me so happy.
Since we did such a great job accompanying Sherry, I invite you to come along for my ooph on Thursday. I know its crazy but Im getting edgy. Not sleeping! They hope to be able to do it laparoscopically but may have to switch to an open operation if there is too much scar tissue from my hysterectomy a few yrs ago. Not the end of the world, just longer recovery. Will be happy to have this behind me. Trying to get as much done as possible before. Even though i know theres not much to be anxious about, a bit tired of surgeries, anaesthesia, recovery, etc. Will be fine. Just venting. Thanks,
Shari -
Of Course we will be there Shari! hugs!
-
shari i'll bring the chocolate
-
Shari we will be there!!!! Tink can fly us there with her wings! I have you in my prayers. Ive got some chocolats as well.

-
Jan508, I had the same problem. I still occasionally get leg pain. I eat a banana or 2 everyday, and it does seem to help. I think it's more the lack of available estrogen, rather then the tami itself, that is responsible for leg pain and cramps. I would still ask your MO, just to be sure.
-
Great news Sherry! sgreenarch - I'm there along with everyone else! Better wear something with big pockets b/c we are all jumping in!
-
Shari,
One question... What time is your surgery? Need to know if I should bring coffee or margaritas to the pocket party,,,.....((hugs)))
-
odie i suggest both!
-
Im with juliet. Its a long flight so we will be hitting alot of time changes, lol!
-
im going straight for the margarita !!!
those on my wings fasten your seatbelts! ":) -
So like we may need a designated flyer, lol;-)
-
lmao!!!!!! thats a good one PAULA! and yes!

-
Paula - If we make Tink the designated flyer we have to make sure she does not have any happy juice. That would be trouble. Wait for me!I'm coming along for the ride. What time Shari?
