It looks like a berry cobbler (raspberry?) with the crumble on top being tapioca and powdered sugar.

Looks like a close up of something edible, I think.  If it is something lizard-y, I will be horrified!!!

I think I see clouds in the upper left so I think it's a a picture from an airplane looking down on the Gulf oil spill around the gulf barrier islands or river estuaries.  Sad to think of, but I hope all is well there.

I think the mystery pic is a close up of a pot of grease.

Wanted to update you gals on my new tumor. My surgeon called and the path results of my FNA were inconclusive and I have to have an excisional biopsy done on Thursday.  I tried to weasle out of it and asked about different types of biopsies but she spoke to my MO and he said he wants it out.  I also called my PS and they thought I should go ahead with the excisional biopsy and see what happens from there and we can still work with my BMX after that.  So looks like I'll max out my insurance again this year and next year.  Gee when will I get a financial break.  Spoke to my boss and told him the news and asked him when he was going to get tired of me and he is so sweet just said he wants me healthy so I can work with him for the long haul.

Sorry that the biopsy was inconclusive. I am glad you are getting it out though. You are dealing with a lot, be kind with yourself. (((((hugs)))))

I think the pic is salt sprinkled on a granite countertop. Probably way off again.

Sherryc,  That is too bad that the FNA didn't spare you from having a surgical biopsy, but at this point you just have to find out what it is so you may as well get it taken out.  At least you know the actual surgery is not that terrible, and I hope the findings are B9 this time!   That's a real blessing to have a boss who is caring and understanding of the time you will need to be off.

Hey buds. Just popping in to say hello. Way behind in my reading again, so I'll wish good news to those of you waiting for results, a hearty welcome to any newcomers, gentle hugs to those going through treatment right now, and a Happy Friday to all :)

Not even going to attempt a guess on the pic 'cause I read all of yours first and now it looks like all of them to me!

Does anyone have an idea for an EASY Halloween costume?   I go to an annual party and have exhausted my repertoire in the last 5-6 years.  Nothing fussy!

It's either that or do a rerun.

E-soccer mom-wear sweats & flip-flops or tennies, carry bottled waters in you pockets & have a soccer ball, have your hair frizzed out to the max & your face half made-up; oh wait-------------------------that's everyday attire here! (Not really)

Thanks Eph, only last year I raided my son's closet for this party and we were a soccer player (me) and a soccer referee (hub) --- only zombies.  I do like to take the less scary costumes and zombie-fy them. This year, hub was going to be a Vet. and I was going to be his cat or dog patient, but before I could get out to purchase ears, nose and tail, he decided he would be "House, M.D." instead, so I scrapped the idea of being a pet, even if I could make it zombie pet!.

Eli, how about an old fashioned mom just waking up ... bathroom, slippers, curlers in hair, cold cream (remember that?) if you have any...maybe a shower cap?  That was my "go to" party outfit for years ... very comfy!!!

Thanks, marlegal!  Too much like my everyday look, minus curlers, when I'm chillin' at the crib.  I did loan out my lounging apparel to my older boy when he was in middle school and he and 3 buddies all went as hausfraus.

Well, looks like I might go costumeless.  That's o.k., my husband got me a weird glow in the dark skull-like t-shirt about 6 years ago.  I can finally break that out, I guess.  It still has the tags on it.  Hahaha!

Remind me to tell you of the best costume I ever had tomorrow, and what a hilarious time I had wearing it.  It is a good story.  I may even post a picture of it and leave it on this thread forever for all to see, if I can scan it in.  I rarely scan, so I hope I remember how to do that.  Only if you remind me.

I was at the Hallmark store today looking at their 2011 ornaments and they have a pink ribbon angel ornament for the Komen Foundation. What? Am I the only one who doesn't want to commemorate the year I was diagnosed with cancer? I can't imagine hanging that on my Christmas tree...

Hope you don't mind if I join in here. I'm on the ish side of 60.... and I really really like Cheetos!

Thinking about a great costume but, you've probably already gone, Elmer. But a pair of black tights and a black T-shirt that you put yellow stripes on... black stocking cap and go as a bumble bee.

That way it shows off your great legs. Wink

I have not been on in a while. I have missed all of you. I got over welmed this past few weeks. We are short tellers at work, and I have been working a few extra hours each day, and I started radiation last week, and that adds an extra apt. each day. then I got really sick with a chest cold this last week, so I just finished some antibiotics.  The radiation, was mild this last week, but I notice this weekend, that my skin is already peeling on the areola and nipple area, and my three scars are very red, so I am a bit nervous for the upcoming 6 weeks of radiation. I am coating aquaphor after each treatment.

I also want to ask. I am 5 weeks out from my last chemo, and my hair seemed to be trying to grow back, and the last several days, it is falling out again. the evidence is on my pillow each morning. Cry Has this same thing happened to anyone, Is it normal. I am wondering how long, before my hair really tries to grow back for real.
