Hi Ladys I have been on all the anti hormonals tomox arimidex aromasin and now i start a new drug today,I have been having cronic dizzines and balsnce problems for the past 6 months Dr does not want to do a scan blood work normal.I'm still ned but freeking out.he said if not better by next months  he will do a MRI.Do you ladys think its just the ant hormonals doing this.or could it be mets.I pray thats its not.....tumor markers low and blood is normal..........any advice......roxy

    Roxy, I know you're probably overwhelmingly scared by this. Chances are it's normal. I had (actually still have) a lot of dizziness. Since I have bone mets doc didn't say "wait until next month" but said "I don't think it's anything but we don't take a chance". So off I went for a CT of my head. It showed 2 good things - 1) no mets - yay! 2) yes I actually have a brain. Let me tell you after chemo....

    What drug did you start? I am on Femara and it appears to be the cause of the dizziness.

    Best of luck. I hope it's the drugs causing it.

    Blood pressure problems could also cause dizziness.

    Roxy, Back in March, I developed a raging case of vertigo that affected my balance and caused severe episodes of dizziness - even while lying in bed. There is medication for vertigo and a GP could check that and blood pressure out now. Maybe you could have an answer and solution long before next month. Sending positive thoughts, October.

    I'm having dizziness also, on Aromasin.  The last month mine have been worse too but I've got something going on with my ear, think maybe inner infection which can cause dizziness.
