That would be great Lori! FranH is also going to try and make it. We are supposed to have a heat wave (40 degrees).

Hi Nancy and all:
I am still planning to come on Saturday but I am leaving the next day for Chicago and Milwaukee for a month - so have to make sure I am ALL packed . . . and I hate to pack!! Anyway just wanted to let you know there is an outside chance I may not make it - but I will try with all my heart!!
Love,
Pat -
Ok Pat then I am going to give you a little nudge to get packing NOW so you can join us. Be sure to bring pictures of those new grandbabies also!
xxxooo
Nancy -
Pat,
I'm hoping you get that packing done so we can catch up before you're gone again.
Gerri -
I'll be there - looking forward to meeting everyone!
Irene -
Yay Irene. It will be nice to meet you also. I somehow missed your post and that you are in Michigan. I think I was mesmerized by that cute cat face.
Today is my 3 year anniversary. I've been holding that in all day. So, happy anniversary to me and happy Fat Tuesday everyone!
We have a nice group for Saturday. I'm worried about the ladies who haven't checked in for a while. Yoohoo, Michigan ladies - c'mon and check in! -
I'd love to come but have 2 difficulties. I think a regularly scheduled breakfast with some old high school friends is this Sat and I don't want to miss again. Also it's embarrassing, but since I'm out of sick days, I'm broke and Novi is lots of gas forme. Maybe next time.
Ann -
Happy anniversary Nancy, can't have enough of those.
Gerri -
Should we make a reservation?
-
If I remember correctly, they do not take reservations. Since we are meeting so early (11:00 right?), we shouldn't have a problem getting our favorite spot. Whoever gets there first, let them know there should be about (I'm not sure how many) people coming.
I figure 8 confirmed, 2 hopeful, 4 expressed interest but haven't confirmed and a whole bunch who haven't checked-in in quite a while. -
Nancy - Murphy (the cat) does have that effect - she's an adorable little devil.
Congrats on your anniversary! One year ago yesterday I started chemo. What a difference a year can make.
Ann - If your other breakfast isn't this Saturday, and it's just the gas, let me know. I have to drive right through your town if you'd like a ride. PM me if you'd like.
Irene -
Nancy,
Hope you ladies have a wonderful time. Catherine & I have talked about joining you ladies one of these times for your get togethers, you are only a few hours away from us....and post some pics afterwards.....
-
Hi everyone, have a great time! As Kats said, we'll make it one of these days!
Catherine -
Kats and Catherine,
We look forward to you two joining us one of these days. It will be nice to meet Kats and see Catherine again. You two have been around since 2003 and should be reaching your 3 year anniversary soon, right?
Candi posted that she is going to try to make it tomorrow. Hope so. If you can ride a bull, you can brave Michigan traffic and weather!
Pat, are you packed yet?
Lori J, I hope you are out skiing and back by tomorrow.
Pam, Judy, Other Lori's, Zoo, where have you been? Please check in!
I see so many Michigan ladies on the board. Makes you wonder, is it our water, air, food - what?
I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
Let's leave bc.org as the contact name if we don't catch everyone at the door. I think we have about 10 confirmed and several hopefuls.

Nancy -
hey Michigan ladies,
I wanted to thank Nancy for contacting me about this site, I have only been on line since January and had not explored this forum yet but I will now! I am so sorry I can not join you all tomorrow but we have plans in Windsor for a 85 year old birthday party. But I look forward to joining all of you next time and I will remember to look at this site as well. I hope all of you ladies have a great time and thank you again for thinking of me, I really appreciate it!
Dee -
I am going to try to make it tomorrow if only I have enough energy! I have to return to work on Monday so I hope that I'll find that energy.
Ann -
Ok Dee - we will meet you next time! I think you and Fitztwins have quite a trek to come to Novi so we will have to plan something special when you ladies who have such a long drive, make it out.
Ann, we will send you some good vibes to get the energy for tomorrow. It will be nice to see you again.
Michelle, 3bears is going to join us!
See everyone soon!

Hi Nancy, Gerri and All:
I think this is probably too late to get to you and I am so sorry but I will not be able to make it today. Just too much to do to be gone a month!!!
Please let's do this again in May or so - can we?? I will bring baby pictures galore then. They are so cute!!!!!!! But then, I'm their Grammy.
Hope you have a wonderful time today - let me know.
Love and Blessings,
Pat -
As usual, it was wonderful to get together with the MI gals for lunch. It was nice to put a face to some of the names. I'm glad to have met Candi, Irene, Michelle and Anna, besides seeing Chris, Connie and Nancy again! Everyone is so nice, it was a pleasure.
Sorry we missed you Pat.
Gerri -
It was a wonderful time. It always feels like I've known you ladies forever even though I just met a few of you. Sorry we missed some others but hope to catch up next time.
Here are some pictures:
Michigan get-together 3-4-2006
There were a few shots from last time in that folder also.
Already looking forward to next time!

Nancy -
Loved seeing you all too!!! And the pictures are great. I am hoping we can get together again before the Race for the Cure. Who's in?
P.S. Having fun with the 3 and 6 year old right now! -
I had a great time meeting everyone! It was well worth the looooong drive. The time just flew too quickly. Maybe we can plan the next one well in advance so more can make it. There's a great place in Imlay.....
I decided to do the financially responsible thing and not go shopping (I just had to charge $950 for auto repairs). Then I proceeded to drive right past the entrance to 96, and had to turn around.
Nancy, thanks for posting the photos so quickly. Although I could've sworn I used to have lips.
Again, it was great to meet everyone and I'm definitely in for another one soon - and the Race for the Cure.
Oh, and of course I completely forgot the name of the onc we were talking about....sigh.
Irene -
Oh, I feel so sorry for myself, having to miss the gathering!!! Boo Hoo . . . anyway I promise I will be there the next time - whenever that is!!
Nancy, the pictures are great. You gals just look beautiful. Gerri, I can't believe how long your hair is now - you too, Nancy.
Sorry I missed meeting the new gals and seeing Chris and Connie Sue again as well. Oh well, next time. I'm leaving for the airport now but just wanted to logon and say I'll "see" you all in awhile.
Blessings,
Pat -
Ladies,
Thank you for sharing the pictures. It looked like you all had a great time.
Irene, I live just north of Imlay City (about 10 minutes) so that would be great but I can drive with no problem. I will keep an eye on this site now and hope to met all you ladies soon.
Dee -

Candi
p.s. Anna, hope you had a good time in Kalamazoo and I hope work goes well for you tomorrow....... -
I just got home from Kalamazoo and had to say that I had a great time and it was so nice meeting you all. I can't wait till next time.
Ann -
Hi Candi,
I tried to view the photos, but got the following error: The link you are using is no longer valid. If this link was sent to you in an email and you would like to view the photos, you will need to contact the album owner and have them share the album using the Gallery's share feature.
I assume you know what they mean? Thanks!
Ann - Glad you had a good time in Kalamazoo. How did work go? Did they tell you how good you look?
Dee - You are close! Maybe we can have a car pool chain for the next one. You drive to my place, then I'll drive to Chris', and so on. It would make a long drive a lot more fun.

Candi -
Thanks - it works now. Great photos.
Love the puppies, too. If I didn't have six cats, I'd be begging for one - they're absolutely adorable. Do some of them actually have blue eyes?
Is that your son with them? Cute kid!
Take care,
Irene -
Thanks.....!!! No, he's not mine, he's like my godson without the formality..... He is pretty cute and he's such an affectionate kid..... Always giving hugs and such.....
Yes, the brown ones do have blue eyes..... They are so pretty..... Both girls.....
Hugs.....
Candi
