Chemo vs Luprin? Need opinions

Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer which was found in my 9th month of pregnancy. My oncletype (sp?) came back low with a 10% chance of reaccurance w/o chemo and a 9% chance with chemo.  I went to 3 doctors for recommendations of how to treat it, all recommended chemo because of the fact that it occured during pregnancy and there are some gray areas.  Two recommended tc, one cmf.  I tried the tc and couldn't tolerate it, so now I'm doing cmf and having difficulty on it.  My doctor has said that he is ok with me taking the lupron shot, going straight to radiation, and then on tomaxifin.  I don't want to have any regrets.  Any opinions?

I am going to bump your question up.  I'm on Lupron, but much older than you and my three doctors told me that I didn't need chemo.  All of your doctors thought you needed chemo, despite the low Oncotype DX score, so the question should be asked is there something more that the doctors can be doing to mitigate some of your side effects so you can continue the chemo.  Perhaps you might want to ask this question on one of the many Chemotherapy threads....

Good luck to you.  Thoughts and prayers to you, as well.

Thank you for your reply, Voraciousreader.  I saw the doc today, he's going to modify the drugs, and I'm going to take it infusion by infusion, and get through what I can.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
