Thanks Sunflowers - I would never have booked it if I'd known what sort of plane it was. After that unusual experience we will have the luxury of Emirates and lots of baggage allowance going home.

My pinched nerve seems to have resolved itself but I will do a physio visit when I get back. I really have to consider a knee replacement - I've been avoiding it for years now. Must also go back to the gym and do some strengthening exercises.

I told Dh, I might stay here and go to the Greek islands :) I could just travel for ever.

Sending (((HUGS))) to everyone is having a tough day --Jancie.

    Sending good luck to Barb.

Congrats to blue, and love and hugs to everyone.

It is a cloudy day in Montreal.  I have taken on a extra course load this fall, and I am certainly feeling it.  Is it the weekend yet?  LOL.

Seeing I'm on someone else's computer I just had a look at that review site - talk about nasty - what's wrong with people?

Waving at Susie - sounds as though your holiday is going wonderfully. The Greek isles would be a wonderful dessert course... Enjoy Wales.

    Thanks Athena.

I miss my Poppy - can't wait to get home and fetch her from her prison. Not looking forward to going back to work though. DH and the couple we are staying with have gone to yoga. I elected to stay behind and catch up with you all.

Still around and thanks for all the well wishes!  The dentist called and said they had equipment failure and could I come in later today.  Yes.....my entire day has revolved around this freaking appointment.  Seems like they are only going to give me 10 min heads up to get there (takes me 5 min to drive) so not sure if I have time for the lorazepam to kick in but I am going to try like heck anyways Laughing

LOL - welome to the "gang" - tee, hee...ok, I won't say anymore...just take GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF - the stress of just sitting in the darn chair gives me a stomach ache.

Sunflowers - took them an hour to pull that tooth.  One root just didn't want to come out.  Took a lorazepam before I left and now just took a percocet.  Going to go watch trash TV and fall asleep.  Will check in later tonight?

I told the dentist that I am going to hate her now and that I would rather sit in a chemo chair than to sit in a dentist chair and I wasn't kidding in the least.

Jancie .. I feel for you.  The very same thing happened when I had my tooth pulled.  And after a long struggle to get the damn thing out, the dentist was so proud of himself .. he wanted to show me the tooth and it's long roots.  No thanks, I told him.  I just wanted to get home and take a pain pill.

Hope the swelling goes down fast and you're okay.

    hugs,

    Bren

AN HOUR!  No words - {{{{{{{{{{Jancie}}}}}}}} rest, rest, find DeNial and enjoy the ride!  Ouch, I really get the shivers ( goosepimples) thinking of it.

Suzie-- I was on the train in Wales (including a stop at Swansea) last fall and learned to my surprise that in Wales, even though I had a first class ticket, there is no first class car. It wasn't til getting back to England where some (not all) trains had first class. The best part of the first class ticket was the first class lounge at Crewe in England which is a hub for trains going here and there.  There sure is some beautiful scenery in Wales.

Jancie, I feel for you! I spent an hour and a half in the dentist chair yesterday, getting a new filling in ove tooth and a partial overlay in another. My jaw STILL hurts after the novacaine injection. I hate the dentist worse than a pap smear, I think...

My neck disc herniation is bugging me today. At least I can take Tramadol at work and not get loopy. I got some amazing shortterm relief from acupunture--I wanted to go back today for more, but work gets in the way...

Big weather change coming tonight for us. High about 60 tomorrow and rainy. Snow at 10, 000 feet. Damn--I wanted to hike at that level tomorrow, and might just anyway. I need to get back into my hiking boots. But I'm not ready to think about fall snows and winter coming. Damn it's dark in the mornings now. Makes it really hard to get out of bed!

I haven't been to a dentist since I was 15 and my braces came off. Jancie, I hope many years go by before you are forced back on that chair again.

Athena you are either lucky or have great teeth.

Dinner is shepherds pie made with hormone free beef, organic everything topped with mashed cauliflower. I'll let y'all know how it works and will share the recipe.

Barbara - both, I suppose. And my teeth are white, straight, etc... Funny how some parts of the body are impervious to anything and others just can't hold up to 5 mph winds.

Dinner (only mention this because it was healthy) was a huge mound of vegetables!  Barbara, your menu sounds interesting.

I'll be going out of town for a few days, so if I'm not around, no worries.  I'm gonna be quiet for a while though.  The latest "Review" has me steaming.

Blue .. hope you have a wonderful vacation and enjoy the family.  I haven't seen the latest reviews, as something appears to be wrong with the site.

Will miss you while you're gone.

    love ya,

We'll miss you blue but have a good time!  Don't let that stuff get to you ... you are not responsible for the mental instability and obsessive behavior of whoever that is over there.  You didn't cause it and you can't cure it.

(((hugs))) to Jancie.  Yikes ... but at least it is over with now.

Dinner was ebelskivers ... decode that one by golly Wink

((((Blue)))) Have a wonderful holiday. Just went and saw what you were talking about and frankly I'd hold that sham excuse of a review site entirely responsible at this point. It seems like an amateurish, shoestring operation that is in way over its head.
