The grandkids (well 6 of them) just left and while they were getting ready to leave my other son called and wanted to know what we were doing tomorrow. The other kids just showed up today. My other son made a boil with crayfish shrimp sausage potatoes and corn. It was sooo good.
Tomorrow we will probably meet up with my son and his wife and their 2 kids and either eat here or at their house. It is a good thing I took a long nap yesterday.

Thanks CherrylH! I knew Rick Perry was a GOP candidate. I just didn't know he had a book. Won't be reading that one either.

I heard about this a few days ago on NPR (that last bastion of liberal elitist fascism):
What a great study! Thanks to Dr. Bell, a cancer research scientist in Ottawa, it looks like we have another promising treatment in the pipeline.
-
A commie commune run by a bunch of scooter-ridin' daisy-paintin' women.
-
It appears that we have to state AGAIN (sigh) that all the drinks at bcob&g are virtual and nobody here is getting drunk.
-
I heard today on NPR that Jesus hung out with sinners and Republicans.
(My apologies to all Republicans who post here)
-
We actually have to explain that? You are joking?
-
Rosemary, that's a lobotomy for sure!
-
Jesus probably hung out with anybody who wanted to listen to what he said. He was cool that way.
-
There really are people so dense that they think we are getting drunk here. Maybe because they can't have fun without drinking. We have lots of fun here and no substances are abused!
-
Jesus was a very wise man!
-
I rarely drink. It upsets my stomach.
-
Rosemary - you can NOT be serious - really, you're joking! Someone doesn't realize WE ARE JOKING when we're talking about booze????? With all the medicines we have to be taking - YOU MUST BE KIDDING??????? Really - God, now that IS funny!
-
And I'm sure he had nothing against Canada Geese, or Obama.
-
Speaking of not drinking, my sister makes a great drink at her beach house - diet Slice and coconut rum. We call it a "Hairicane" (that's how you say "hurricane" in Bawlmer).
-
Does it put hair on your chest E?
-
Probably not, Blue.
I'm happy to report that HL had a pretty good day today. :-)
-
Sunflowers you bully, you! Don't you know when you confront anyone with logic, it's considered bullying.
-
Good to hear E. I'm gonna go get ready for Bill and Eric!
-
No, but it puts hair on your candy canes!
Did that make any sense? Thought not.
-
OK-What the heck is going on here? I just got this email from the mods:
"Hello YramAL,
Due to mis-use, we have revoked your ability to report posts that violate the Community Rules (http://community.breastcancer.org/help/rules). In addition, you can now only send a handful of private messages each day.
Abuse of the post reporting functionality and private messaging systems are a serious infraction of the rules, and may also result in your account being temporarily or permanently banned from the Community.
Thank you for helping us maintain a supportive and welcoming community for those diagnosed with breast cancer.
Sincerely,The Breastcancer.org Team "
I haven't reported any posts for a very, very long time......
Mary
-
Someone reported one of yours.
-
Not this again......

I guess I've somehow offended the "right's" sensibilities once again. Probably by refusing to read Rick Perry's book.
Mary
-
Yeah, good news from HL. It must be SO exhausting having that long a surgery.
mary - I got one of those emails a while ago - just pm the mods & tell them - it has to be a mistake. I also got one a while ago saying somethng about "the post you reported" and I hadn't reported any post.
Blue - well, really, how COULD anyone think we were really drinking? Absurd. Also surprises me that people other than most of us writing, actually READ our thread. I read other threads, for treatment information, and to help answer questions when I can, but what wuld someone want to read us for? Esp. if they don't like us???? Strange, strange.....but when you read the "critics" it is clear they pore over every word!
I'd rather try to keep reading Clarissa

-
Yes, I sent a PM to the moderators.
Oh, and I AM really drinking(sometimes)
Does that mean I have to leave?Mary
-
Rosemary - I listen to NPR all day! I've never heard ANY of the Talk Show screamers on radio, and don't have cable where I live. SO peaceful. Also watch PBS- which is why I'll be saying goodnight. A new series of Masterpiece Mystery is about to go on telly.
Hope everyone has a peaceful dream filled night.
eta: to our readers from the dark side - if you want labels, I'm not a porgressive, I'm a Knee Jerk Liberal. nite.
-
I work for a few days and you girls went and got into trouble again, didn't you!
-
No, it wasn't us. WE didn't get into trouble. Somebody banned from BCO went nutzooooo tho
-
Mary
I think you should PM the mods for an explanation. There may be a malfunction in their program.
There is a malfunction in anyone who think we drink here.
-
Well, I am glad to hear HL is doing better. Soon there will be no keeping her down.
Is anyone watching the MDS telethon? Although I agree that Jerry Lewis went over the line last year, it just isn't the same without him.
