Oh, an Arimidex holiday - what a delightful ring that has to it;-)))  ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY - how long will ou be on holiday.

I was considering a clinical trial, open to those who have been on an AI for at least 4 years.  But, when I found out it was "randomized" ( as if I'd turned my brain on for more than a mega second a day I would have known) and the two sides were:  5 more years on Femara, or 5 more years of 9 months ON, and 3 months OFF Femara.

I drew a very, VERY good "card" for the clinical trial I volunteered for when I had Chemotherapy, and figure it's some other woman's turn to draw the good one for this one.

But as soon as I hear a "whisper" that the two "sides" seem to be responding the same - I'm determined to have a Sunflowers Clinical Trial ( 9 months on, 3 months off) -  know I'll have a few more years b4 any "news" is available - but truly it IS the "little things" that sometimes make me smile.

I was on Tamoxifin for over a year and developed thickening in my uterus so had an ooph and have been on Arimidex for the past 3-1/2 years.  Just checking various things because of the arm.  Won't be off it too long.

Jancie is correct - screen shot. (or "screen shottated" or "screen" shittatiationated" - how about those)?

Jealous that you are seeing HL. Did she get those drains out?

A woman told the vet that something was wrong with her dog. He examined the animal and told her the dog was dead.

"I don't believe you", she said, "I'd like a second opinion"

The vet said that would be fine. He went into the other room and got a cat. He put the cat up on the table with the dog. The cat sniffed the dog and jumped down. The vet then got a black lab, put him on the table and the lab sniffed and jumped down.

The vet tells the lady again, "I'm sorry, but your dog is definitely dead. That will be $600 for the exam."

"$600 is ridiculous, what are the charges for?" she exclaimed.

"$600 is a bargain," the vet explained. "$50 for me and only $550 for the cat scan and lab work."

I need a double, too. It is Friday and the woodwork is strangely alive.

Jancie -- Any idea how Jazzie got a scratched cornea?  I have visions of Jazzie using her right hoof to rub her left eye Wink  but since I know that's impossible, did she scratch it on the side of the stall?  Poor baby.

I agree, no past tense for screen shot cuz it's not a verb - guess you'll have to say "I took a screen shot".

Speaking of grammar, another one that drives me batty is when people say less instead of fewer when describing more than one thing or person.  And, to borrow E's word, I can't tell you how many times I'd like to perform an apostrophectomy -- well, several times a day at least!

Ready for a small manhattan soon, bartender!

And shall we guess why the new poster has a new name?  Naw, don't bother.  Not even worth an "Oh, Bother"    I thought it was only one account per person?  I expect the Mods will catch on soon enough.  Well, maybe not soon enough,

I'll have a LARGE IcedWine, thank you.

I just got a SPAM PM from the new poster - reported it as SPAM.  Won't bother to repost it here. Not worth the effort.

Excellent Cherry, I think you are wise.

Also, rutagagas, and watermelon radish, one of my favorite things to paint.  They are SO beautiful.

I'm not too sure I'd like the Ice Wine, so how about a chardonnay? 98 degrees here today - highest temp in Sept. in 57 years! Cool weather is on the way, though.

Oh Allison, you would love the ice wine. I don't even like sweet wine but it is incredible. Right Linda, ann and Rosemary? Blue you had some, too, right?

I don't like sweet wine either, that's why I don't think I'll like it. If you insist though, I'll change my order. Bartender, Ice Wine for me.

Sorry that this will be a shout out the window from a moving vehicle, but dh has just lost patience with me.  Six pages behind, and I'm reading FART jokes!  :)

HappyLibby, I am so glad to hear you're on the mend.  Those narc drugs can do strange things.  I usually respond predictably and easily; but I've heard others say they become unstable and really, really uncomfortable on the same drugs.  Get those d*mn drains out and you'll feel much better -- but, you know that.

Gracie...  <sigh>... not much I can say except to acknowledge that you've been given some really sucky news.  I wonder who is supposed to be defining "quality of life" -- the doctor, or the patient?  I think a sit-down conference is in order, to make it clear to the dear doc that you want time as well as comfort.  There ought to be a way to compromise, yes?  Sending hugs your way:  ((((gracie))))

Gotta go, everybody.  Hi to all.  CrazyDaisy, we use a Verizon "MiFi" card for internet service when traveling.  It works wherever there is a cell phone signal.   'Course, when there's no cell phone signal, like at each of the last 3 campgrounds we've been in and each of the next 3, there's no MiFi signal either.  We drive to the nearest town or interstate every few days to catch up on what's happening.  An hour is all I get, though, before dh starts getting b*tchy, as he is now.  Talk to y'all next week some time, I hope.

Geez Chaplain .. I just figured out you meant pour the chardonnay.  I thought you meant chard (the green stuff) at first.  I couldn't understand why someone would want to drink chard.

Well .. I went to walmart today .. on the 1st of the month on a Friday of a long holiday weekend.  Just call me crazy.  But, I hadn't been around other humans in so long, I was quite pleasant and even smiled at other people!  I was so cheerful I even let a mother and baby get ahead of me in line.

Tomorrow I'll clean and do laundry.  Tim won't know what hit him again.  A clean house two weeks in a row!  Yippee!

Mary .. no wonder you're tired, that's a large class load to carry, and a lot of papers to grade!

Sunflowers .. I don't know what a watermellon radish is either.  Is it red and does it look like a miniature watermellon?

Hope everyone has a great night,

    Bren
