from "Pamidronate" have terrible side affect.What medicine dr.can prescribe next?girls,who have same medicine,like "pamidronate"?

    I have not heard of this drug, could you tell us a little more about. We might be able to give more advice on it. Be sure to talk to your onc. tell them how bad it is, hopefully they can switch you!!

    It's a bisphosphonate, Aredia. 

    Side effects from Wikipedia:

    Common side effects include bone pain, low calcium levels, nausea, and dizziness. Osteonecrosis of the jaw is a rare complication which has been associated with the use of bisphosphonates, including pamidronate.[1]

    I refused to take bisphosphonates, but someone may have suggestions to help with SE's or an alternative.  I expect most are asleep now.
