Merilee -- thanks for sharing the youtube link -- that's beautiful!! Sorry I didn't see your post about the candle until just now, or I would have been "in," too.
RangerMom -- hope things went smoothly and that you're resting comfortably right now. We're thinking of you!

Rangermom,
Have been away for a week or so with no internet, so here's a belated prayer for you sending you lots and lots of healing vibes and hugs.

Been away from the board for a while.
Thanks Jackifp, for answering my question about flushing. I thought that was what flushing was but wasn't sure. Chemo brain.
RangerMom sending you belated prayers and good healing vibes also.

We are having fun at Mer's house today. Stitches in my arm after a big stinky fish bowl of dirty water burst into a million pieces while I was carrying it to the sink. My ulnar nerve that was damaged during my last surgery, gave me a spasm and I smashed the bowl between my forearms. Glass and gravel everywhere including down the disposal and all over me. 5 cuts, with luckily only one 4 inches long & only required 2 stitches on one end of it. UG!
-
Merilee, What a horrible thing to happen to you! Just what you needed.....Hope you are OK.
Thinking of Rangermom today.
Jane

-
Merilee - YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! feel better, are your blood levels good for healing by now?
Thinking of RangerMom all day...
-
Artie Cat -- Where do you get Jean's Cream? I won't be starting rads for awhile (November), but it's a good thing to know.
Thinking of RangerMom.......
I had Taxotere #6 yesterday -- halfway mark. Doing okay so far except couldn't sleep last night (steroids, no doubt). Tossed and turned from midnight 'til 4:00. Finally got up at 4:00 and will try to get some of my transcription done now.
-
Scc- halfway mark yes!
Rangrmom? You up and able to give us an update yet? We have all been thinking of you.
-
Merilee...glad that it was not a worse situation, but still that sucks. Hope you're not in too much pain. Also, is the fishy ok?
RangerMom, thinking of you!
Lovely birthday yesterday! Feel rather celebratory and duely feted and nothing like this situation to make me grateful for 35. A few years ago, I'd be depressed and wallowing about gettng old. This year? Every day is a gift, so bring it on! I'm off to the throne today for 6/12 of Taxol. I've got to get more sleep. I've been up since 2:30 am.
Walk tall, women!
-
Carla - Happy Birthday! Sorry I missed that yesterday, every day is a great day!
Heading back to #6 the final TCH this morning. See you all soon....
HUGS - healing to RangerMom, you are still in my thoughts and prayers.
-
Ginger! To day is the last one! That is so awesome.
