Yesterday, I went to the gym after hiatus of about 3 months and had to reactivate my record.
Now I am hurting like nothing..shows how little I use my muscles, even playing tennis and swimming...hmmm
-
That's ridiculous Lisa!! I've never been an advocate of regular exercise and that just proves my point! If tennis and swimming can't keep you fit, then forget it! Doi!!!!
-
BarbA - I will share mine with you until you get your own. Love you my dear friend. Sept. Is still getting really close. I can hardly wait until Chrissy gets here.
Lias - so sorry about the pain from the gym trip. Good that you started back, you should feel better in a few days.
Barbe - I am not a fan of exercise, but when I do it I do feel better afterward. -
just a big hello to you dear friends.. i hope all is going well for you all. not much has changed, they say it can take months to start to accumulate, and get it going... or, they;ll do something in oct..rad, or surgery. i wouldn't mind if it was last year.. but mecca ohhhhh ((((sigh))))) 3jays

Another of my fav threads that I'm way behind in reading. Just dropping in to say HI and blow a kiss to you all.
AmyJo, I'm with Barb...jealous of the grands, yet thrilled for you at the same time. For me and for Barb, give him an extra hug till we can hug our own
Love and hugs
-
Oh, AmyJo - what a precious baby boy! I can just imagine how much you must be enjoying holding this bundle of joy! He's beautiful!
Feel better soon, 3jays!
L_C - I wish I was at all those fun festivals - hunky firemen and everything? Not too many festivals going on in Atlanta - it is just plain too hot here. Come fall, we'll start 'em up again. Big Music Festival in Piedmont Park in late September that I'm thinking about going to - has Coldplay, The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant. We've got 2 tickets but I can only go if my son doesn't get a date (or a friend), so my chances are probably pretty slim. It's his generation music anyway, but I do like those bands.
Lisa - those pictures are nice and cooling.

Good evening ladies,
Just stopping by to says hello and let you know we are home from CA. Please pray for y new GS, Micah, he is not ginning weight like he should. He is down from 8 lbs 11 oz to just 8 lbs. DD had another dr appointment today that included a lactation specialist to see what the problem is. I have not heard anything yet so I will call her tomorrow. Pray for her too as she is very worried about him.

AJ: micah is on the top of my prayer list; till some news reaches us. DIL had problems with my GD at first, she lost, but gained it all back soon wasn't latching, wasn't staying "on" long enuff. hope its' that simple!!! alyson, been thinking about you. hope the le thing is getting better... all of you stay well.....3jays

Hi all
So cold here we are just not used to it in this part of the country.
Thanks for asking 3jays, I am fine and this LE is i proving. I just have to wear my sleeve all the time because if I don't up goes my arm. Other health problems keep annoying me just wish they wouldn't complicate things.
I had a lovely afternoon with the little ones but was very tired when I got home. Bathroom is coming on nicely should be all done this week, then its on to the main bathroom.
AJ my GD lost a lot os weight and took months to put it on but she is a bright healthy baby. Main thing is not to get too anxious about how much they are gaining that makes it worse for the mother. Sending lots of prayers for Micah.
Hope you are all enjoying your warmth.

Wow, Alyson, snow in New Zealand. Wow.
Thanks gals, the banner was mailed to us by the mods and they have added names to the picture and I think they plan to post it after they get all the names. The one I took was OK but the one Yan took is great. Check out the 'lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake' thread. Way better.
