Oh Ruth... now I will hear your voice in my ear as I plot my excuses for not going

True re the water bill.
The next person is sitting in cool comfort and dreading seeing their next electric bill

The next person likes amusement parks
-
False I am deathly afraid of rollar coasters
The next person is learning something new....

The next person is avoiding vacuming the pool.
-
Well, here's what happened with my onc... I had my labs but she had to cancel my appointment and reschedule. But I got my lab results, all good, including CA15-3. So now I am not so motivated to rush in to see her. And I am not due for a mammo yet. How about putting it off one month? Just savor the summer of being healthy again
And get back in the doctor loop in the fall?No pool and the ocean does not need vacuuming!
The next person does not "get" the Mafia movie genre.
-
TRUE!
The ocean sounds great. PJ I say wait til the Fall...summer is for relaxing and it is not crucial...BC is a chronic condition and especially in August....we need to not give as much "floortime to BC". Our pool has a polaris...but DH takes care of it ...ONE thing he DOES do
beside more than a full time job. The next person has a completely clean and organized house and feels very tired now....
off to pick up my curly girly from Doggie daycare soon.

The next person has relatives in the same town as where they live. (I don't)
-
False....which is good an bad, I guess...depends on WHICH family members

The next person is more offended by seeing violence on tv than by a wardrobe malfunction where a boob is exposed.
-
true. They make such a big deal out of it don't they? Anyone too young to see it would never notice it and those of us old enough to should not care.
The next person plans to spend the evening outside.
(pj- I'll agree with one month- September- I know what you mean about trying to enjoy the summer and you have some info already. Though I am not sure Ruth would agree.)
-
false, no palm trees in Wisconsin
(Last spring Fox News did a story about the Capitol protests, but used a video clip from a rowdier protest somewhere else, maybe California, with palm trees. Guess ours wasn't juicy enough. Great fodder for humor though. People brought blow-up plastic palm trees to the Capitol square.)
The next person owns and displays a pink flamingo.
-
false BUT my sisters cut out 40 huge pink flamingos to "flock" our SIL's yard when she turned 40. Well, they have made their rounds for different birthdays. This year they were back at the same SIL's house for her 60th!
edited to add: funny story Badger!
The next person likes pink flamingos (real or plastic).

False
The next person is procrastinating about going to the grocery store (I am)
-
So true, just told DH I was going to have to break down and go.
The next person is trying to use up frozen foods so they won't be wasted if we have a hurricane. -
False...no hurricane in our foreseeable future.....but we do have blizzards and snow storms that can isolate us in our homes, at which point we'd need supplies
The next person is making tomorrow a day of rest - no matter what!
