He is fabulous and the museum here in St Pete is awesome! When you come Mary, try to make time to go. It is unbelievable. Next Saturday I am meeting a bunch of FL women from BCO for lunch and then we will go to the Dali museum. Can't wait!!

-
BarbA - sorry you have such a sucky week ahead of you. I know you'll be looking forward to that drink on the flight from LA Friday!
Lisa - what a little cutie! What kind of bird is that, do you know? I was thinking it looked like a hummingbird, but I don't think I've ever seen one actually "sitting"!
-
it is a hummingbird, he loves my feeder
-
Barbara, have a good flight..
-
Safe travels Barb. Try to get some rest in the evenings. Love you dear friend.
-
Lisa - I have several little hummers that hang out in the mornings and evenings around my feeders. They are so amazing to watch.
-
He looks almost fuzzy! Thanks for the well wishes. I am wising today was Friday and I was heading home.
-
have a good trip, Barbara
-
Waiting for room service then blessed bed. Bye!
-
Enjoy! Room service is one of my favorite things.
On the other end of the spectrum, for a fun day, go visit a real, old-timey hardware store - a trip even a DH could love. Stuff for him, and great kitchenware and household items. A pleasant excursion.
The one we went to today (and found the exact canning equipment I'm replacing, same manufacturer as 35 years ago) was sort of a 50s style, and a main street bedrock in downtown Chico. Same family owners for generations; old wood floors...
As I said, not room service. Hope you eat well, and sleep even better.
-
Thanks, L_C. We have an old timey Tru Value in our town with oh so helpful people. They even tell you how to do stuff. Finishing th Corona then SLEEP! Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. Wish me well on my demo tomorrow. I worked my tail off on prepping it.
-
Barb - good luck with the demo. Hope everything goes off without a hitch.
-
From looking at your pictures it doesn't appear you have much of a "tail" to work off Barb! I KNOW things will be just fine! have fun; just picture everyone in thong underwear & Lady GaGa shoes-that should relax you!

My big surprise news today is that I am now her2+. People kept telling me that your tumor status can change and Dr.Cody did the test, but said it was a long shot. I actually forgot all about it and then today the PA told me whatever the test was the number was elevated and she went and talked to him and I am going to start on it next week. I am also going to be taking my lst Xeloda dose tomorrow. So as I am so fond of saying, Hope springs eternal. Maybe my luck is changing and the tumor markers will finally start going down and the liver tumors will shrink. They drew blood for a new CA 27.29 today so we would have a starting point and I am betting it will be 3,500+ .....any of you want to place a bet? I am happy about the Her2+ as it will give me more options plus this woman I am friends with at the office has been on it for 8 yrs with no ill effects...will have to have my heart monitered with an EKG and something else every few months. I also told her if it's ok I want my INR checked twice a week after I start the Xeloda until we figure out how it is going to effect me....that interaction with warfarin on the printout has me worried.
Tim played at another place tonight where they were having open mike and I went to listen....he says he is going to do it again! It's been a day just full of surprises.
Going to Paul McCartney tomorrow night at the Great American BallPark. When I saw him in Crosley Field (long gone) with the Beatles it was 45, 46 yrs ago.....when was that Barb? She saw him on the same tour, but a different city.
-
Great news, Marybe. Here's hopinh herceptin kicks major cancer a$$. I think it was 1965. I saw them in Pittsburgh. Thanks for the 'go get 'em' Amy. I will give it my best. Going over it all one more time.
