BLUE - why don't you do the honors and open the 500th page?
Let's stand tall, proud and together.
-
Oh my heavens............................a toaster oven....................................by golly I have to keep on posting................................CS welcome honey;...........................I knew you couldn't stay away from your best buddies................................Like I said "screw the ones who disagree withus, and the horse they rode in on................................yea CS is back..........
-
I'm so glad to hear that CS is still here. I can't respond to pm's right now as I am on restriction again, but that's OK.
Yes, I raise my glass to 500 pages. May the next 500 be filled with friendship and good humour!
-
THE F WORD. Blue, you're on restriction - AGAIN. WTF???? Please be 500.

Gabby Giffords at US House of Representatives - casts a VOTE in favor of bill! WOW, just WOW!!!! what courage....
-
See it wasn't you last time!
C'mon girls. 500 almost here.
-
We made it!
-
Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!
The BCO B&G is serving free drinks for one page, so line up, folks!
-
I wanted it to be BLUE who opened page 500 - but if it can't be Blue, then Gabby Giffords returning to the House of Representatives to cast a vote - 7 months after being shot in the head - is a pretty good substitute! Giffords got a standing ovation, and Nancy Pelosi, speaking without notes - was eloquent. We are honored to be served by these women. And I don't care if this is considered "political" - just seeing Gabby Giffords waving and smiling, made me cry.
Thanks, Blue, for 500 pages of friendhship.
-
I saw that too. That is a miracle!
-
Yay for Gabbie Giffords .. she deserves a standing ovation!

Yeah us ... a girl couldn't ask for a better group of friends! Now I'm going to splurge and ask for a Tequila Sunrise ... not a drink I normally do well with in public but this is an occasion. A toast to good friends, good drink, good food and all good things for all of you!
Giffords is amazing ... it makes my heart happy to see how well she has recovered.
-
500 pages! Yay!
It was quite moving to see Gabby Giffords today, no matter what one's politics are.

Where are our other friends - Rosemary, Barbara, HL, Enjoyful, Lindasa, Alpal, Mary, everyone else..come and celebrate.
-
Congratulations Girls!!!! I did resist posting, hoping Blue would start the 500th page.
God, I'm good - just found a bug in the code. I just love investigating defects!!! Main thing is, that I didn't write that bit.

What a wonderful, loving and supportive community of friends we have here! And welcoming new friends all the time. Blue, thanks for persisting -- your life experience in "persistence" has benefitted us all. Love you!
-
Congrats you all...
Do they do Midori sours at the BCO B&G?
I'll have one.
-
I really cuold use a toaster-oven, but will gladly relinquish to Gabby! Yeah for 500 pages oflove and friendship. A nice, crisp chardonnay please, barkeep!!!
-
I just discovered that they make Dark Chocolate Klondike bars (a slab of vanilla icecream coated on all sides by chocolate.) Do the antioxidants in the dark chocolate make this a healthy treat? Because that's what I'm eating to celebrate the life of this thread!
-
Yay -- 500 pages and a vote by Gabby Giffords! I'd sure like a margarita, but light on the tequila.
I'm on vacation, sitting in our travel trailer in a campground on Lake Barkley in KY, with a pitifully weak internet connection -- but I do have a connection. I had to check in here tonight. Honestly, it is so peaceful without all those disruptive types dropping in. CS, I'm glad you're reconsidering -- we do need and want you here.
Unfortunately, it's time for bed already, so this won't be one of my usual loooooong posts.
Congrats, everybody, and good night!

Happy 500! CS, now that you led off page 500, you must stay!

-
Hey...................I want the toaster oven.......................Age over youth ladies..................I get the toaster oven
-
I really need to eat something..................I am starving, but its 12am, and if I do the Reflux will hit about 3am..................................damn I should have eaten earlier
-
by the way ladies I have been drinking the Tart cherry juice, and my aches and pains seem a little better....................would that not be great if this stuff really works................
-
Oh yea, nice to see Gabby back.......she really is a miracle lady.........
-
ducky -- I'm going to get me some tart cherry juice! and bravo to Gabby -- she's a shining example of determination in overcoming the *crap* life aimed at her. What an inspiration! May she continue to improve, and serve her constituents as she always intended. A true public servant!

Went to sleep early and missed the party ... But I'll splurge this morning with a teeeny tiiiiiny mimosa (Buck's fizz) to celebrate both our 500th page and Gabrielle Giffords' return to the House. She is an amazing, shining example of the triumph of the human spirit. And we are a fabulous example of friendship and support and good jokes. Hugs to all this morning, and calorie-free virtual cherry danish (I have had a cherry danish "thing" for some weeks now).

'Morning all! Still on page 500? I will make this short so that more people can fit in. Slept better last night. A med timing adjusment may have helped.
