Wow, 5 acres1 i has 2-1/2 in Silver Spring and I thought that was a lot. Oh the leaves.
The cake is eaten one at a time. They are toothpicked on.
Mary, how great seeing Ann! We will miss you!
-
OK, dinner is leftover vealchop and penne with vodka sauce and roasted brussels. YUM!
-
Barbara .. 'oh the leaves' is exactly right. In the fall that's all I do is blow and mow leaves! Leftover dinner sounds great. Not even going to mention what I ate. ha!

Lunch was broiled hamburger. Not organic, but 96% lean. Lightly salted, heavily peppered and eaten without bread, just mustard to dip pieces into. Very good.
-
Riley - how's Hadley???
-
Hey everybody! Managed to go for a 16-mile bike ride this morning, heat and all. I will be paying for it for the next few days, but it felt good to be able-bodied for a short while.
Hugs for everybody - you're ALL super women!
-
Susie: Going home today, with no drain! She's posted in the My Doctors Are Worried About Mets thread.
http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/105/topic/771809?page=5#idx_141
Apparently, she swiped the nurse's computer while she was out of the room to post a brief message. Yay! Now, fingers crossed for the path report.
-
Good news!!! - you'd think they'd have the pathology by now - over here it's usually back in a day or so. Great they found this thing - way better than being paralysed.
-
E, I am SO proud of you. If I got on a bike and tried to do 16 miles, I would MELT. More power to you gal pal.
-
Enjoyful .. way to go!!
-
enjoyful, good for you 16 miles and in this heat.
-
E - You are a superwoman too - hope you feel immensely proud of yourself!
-
Riley .. thanks for the update on Hadley .. I read her note on the other thread. Keeping her in my thoughts.
Bren
-
Bren, she's a tough cookie. She's an inspiration to me.
-
Riley: I wonder if the fact that the biopsy takes two weeks is a good thing - or is it just a very complicated test? Has Hadley said anything about this?
-
No, she hasn't. All they said was it was very vascular and wrapped around her cervical vertebra tightly enough to crack it. That's why they initially thought mets; her spine was starting to crumble, they thought.
-
Ewgh - nasty wait for her. Thank God she has you.
-
It's so quiet here. Is it because we've been sent to Coventry?
The only other thread in these circunstances that I can identify is the Susan Komen. How can they
compare.....I will keep my top teeth snuggled against the botrtom ones.
Susie - hope your busker serenades you well.
Good night, all!
-
G'night Athena!
I'm enjoying truffles tonight. ;-)
-
Maybe they're telling Hadley the longest possible wait time? And she'll actually get results earlier? (That's what my BS did with my excisional -- and what she always does -- prepares you for the longest possible wait time -- makes sense. She told me 11 days and actually got my results in 6...)
-
Cannot...move...legs. Which horrible and evil person suggested that exercise might be GOOD for you?
-
Enjoyful is Now Super Woman!!!

-
Hahahaha Ann.
Super something, for sure!
-
E - make sure you stretch your legs or even put ice packs on your quads and hamstrings.
So happy to hear you are out and about.
Speaking of Active topics, whenever I click on that function I get an error message - anyone else have that problem?
-
No problem here. Maybe your computer was hacked? ;-)
-
Hmmmmm, good question...
-
Good evening ladies.
Has Congress reached an agreement. I haven't watched TV all day or read back.
-
Athena, Athena, I'm the only hacker on this board. They said so, therefore it must be true. It's even being bandied about at the review site. I'M ROFLMAO.
-
Athena - the busker is only there on Fridays.
Lunchtime!!!
-
Blue:
I've been watching Masterpiece Theatre on PBS but just tuned in to CNN and they're running a headline that says Debt Deal Reached - but no details just talking heads as usual arguing with one another.
