    True, especially while sweating in the garden

    The next person is doing absolutely nothing today but waiting for someone to come by and fix something in the house.  Seems like endless repairs lately but trying to stay on top of things.

     I do book my own travel but only recently ;)  Many sites that list homes for sale are also listing rentals ...search rentals in an area in google...personally I love Zillow!  Never seen the Great Lakes...must put it on my travel wish list.  I just get home from a trip and want to plan the next :)))

    Ruth I just finished Secret Daughter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda, it was amazing from the first page to the last.  LOVED it.  I am just about to finish Gap Creek which has also been really, really good.  I'm a little bit bummed as I will finish this one before my other requests have come in from the library:(

    pam, try this for asparagus: first bring a pot of water to a boil, then toss in the cleaned spears and cook for only a minute, then drain and serve.

    The next person likes cream cheese frosting made with honey instead of sugar.

    Here's my cream cheese frosting recipe, it's for a carrot cake made in an 8x8 baking pan.

    Have 4 oz cream cheese at room temp.  In a medium mixing bowl, soften well with a fork.  Add 1/4 cup honey, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and a few drops of lemon juice.  Mix well.  Spread on cooled cake and enjoy.

    True - I love Indian food and I make a superb Dhansak with over 10 gorgeous spices.  Yum, yum!

    The next person is going to sit on the couch and watch TV or DVDs or surf the web all day until 4pm, then rush to the grocery store for dinner, rush back home to wash the dishes - just in time for her man to arrive home from work Cool

    I feel much better today and walked a mile ! I can not wait until I can run a mile but probably won't happen until I get my knees replaced.

    true, but I wish I was.  Both of my parents were/are excellent gardeners.  I eat off my Dad's garden.  I tried my own twice and it did not go well.
