I say yes, you say no, OR People are Strange

Pony .. you really need to delete your post above with the name calling. It is very inappropriate and out of line.
I'll give you a chance to delete your comment before I hit the "report this post" button.

Too Late. I reported it.
-
I did too. I never insulted you, Patzee nor have I ever insulted Luan, Susan et al. Nor have I ever resorted to name calling. Doing the very thing you accuse us of...being childish? Pot...kettle.
-
Mods, if she is banned, please don't reverse the ban. If this was your intention - good call, actually.
-
Jeepers - I was on the road this afternoon and missed the Bar and Grill opening. Will there be service later tonight? I am going to play bridge in an hour and need to keep alert so as to look mildly competent.
-
It was only last night that we discussed alcohol abuse and how bad it can be. Has anybody here watched "Dr. G. Medical Examiner." Many of her shows deal with deaths from alcoholism. What is amazing is how many organs it can affect.
So, fellow BCO Bar and Grill patrons, drink mindfully.
I'll have a G&T iced and sliced now that it's happy hour.
-
Pony .. I didn't delete your post, but it seems the "community" decided it needed to go. Good for the community.
It really was offensive to me.

I reported it as well, and I have never argued in this group or reported a post before (except for a spam one about viagra or something).
Rainbow, you chose a lumpectomy. My tumor was 9cm, I didn't have a choice between lumpectomy or mastectomy. I suppose I could have chosen no treatment at all, but that did not seem reasonable to me. I am an intelligent person. I had my breast removed and am not at all an "ignorant moron." While I made have made a choice that you wouldn't have, it doesn't make me stupid.
-
One was enough for me.
Got deleted again.
-
Missed the insult but it's a good thing. Behavior like that does not lead to positive healing energy. it'll eat you up from the inside out
Red wine or maybe a good dark beer for me. What's on tap?
-
Guinness and Whitbread pale ale. Along with the Sam Adams specialty beers.
-
Oh congratulations on all fronts Bren. You must be so proud for your son and relieved for Tim.
-
That is no excuse to be insulting and demeaning. Bad behavior Patzee.
-
Doesn't matter Pony .. you were very rude.
Bren
-
Patzee, don't you ever take a break? I had a little nap and come back to the continuous nonsense. Exactly, what is it you want here?
-
Athena was not making light of Libby's surgery. You reallly don't have a clue what is being discussed on this thread.
-
Bullying? You insult me and I am bullying you because I don't like it?
-
Big glass red wine NOW!!!!
-
Happy Libby
You did your research, made your decision. Good for you.
-
lassie
I think Canadian residents get a discount at BCOB&G. AND free Macadamia nuts. I'm moving north.
If you get an answer, Blue, cudya let other know? Why would someone who constantly demeans people who regularly post on this thread, keep posting here herself? I just don' t get it There is a WHOLE Forum for "Growing our Friendships After Treatment"- so why not start a NEW thread with people you want to be friends with - and stop saying people you keep demeaning are bullying you!
It is just absurd.
-
We are not the ones who need milk and cookies.
Of course it is sad when someone loses their breasts to bc but not as sad as whenthey lose their lives.
-
I am sure HappyLibby isn't happy about it either but it was her choice.
I am rethinking my one drink limit. Another dounle Dewars, straight up.
-
Bren - what wonderful news about your son. I know you are so proud of him.
Pony - I fail to understand how you start a thread that is full of inspirational sweetness and light quotes and then come to another thread hurling insults and name calling.
Dinner was going to be burgers cooked on the grill, but after thawing out the gd. beef, I decided it seemed a tad bit off. In the trash! Ewwww! Maybe Chinese carry out. Too hot to cook, anyway.
-
ALso discounts for folks visiting Canada
as long as they take pictures whenthe're there
Barbara - you deserve da whole bottle!
-
Drinks are being served.
I think Patzee really likes our thread, and our sense of humour and wishes she could be a part of this group. I'm gonna be a BIG person and say anyone can post here.
-
Make mine a martini please.
-
Thanks for your vote of confidence in my cooking skills Athena! However, I prefer to be the CHEF at the new BCOB&G, and have a bunch of underlings I can order around to do the actual work!

Unbelievable, on the wacky thread, Athena is applauding HappyLibby for having a BMX. Here's what she wrote:

Yey for BMX, if I may be so bold! Call me old fashioned, but at a certain point, certain body parts deserved to be fired with cause!

What is wrong with you woman? I think there may be a screw loose. "
HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.
this is from the "other" Horrible things about Medical community thread...now the Homeroomis called Wacky. Brrrr.....this is chilling....
-
Lindasa, you cetainly deserve the title of "chef." "Cook" would be too lowly.
-
Well - what can I say!!! You all made me late getting ready for work after all the posts over night. Now I'm here and I'm flabbergasted. I remember being chastised for talking about gettings boobs "chopped off" in the LCIS forum once because I couldn't believe anyone would react so strongly to a small amount of LCIS. I fought to save mine, but now I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to get them chopped off.
Athena - you can refer to your BMX in which ever way you like - they were your boobs after all.
Some people's definition of bullying is rather strange.
